EP001: So, Who Dog-Eared this Page? Pt. I

Dawn broke over Lavalava Island in the Paper World book, birds started twittering, the ambient air swirled around the treetops, and Yoshis and Ravens started to wake up from their slumber. Despite all this, the peace of the island was rather crudely interrupted by a camera being switched on, a figure appeared in its frame and started speaking out of nowhere.

???: "Yo, what is up? We're comin' at you from Lavalava Island, I'm your host, Chris McLean...or at least I am the paper version of him from the regular world. You may remember a reality show called Total Drama, well I am proud to announce we have gotten the getgo to host a Paper World version of that hit reality show! Like the original, we got 22 contestants who signed up for this, ready to face the hardships of facing deadly creatures, disgusting food and their own personal dramas all in the name to avoid walking the Dock of Shame and be the last one standing to win 60 million Coins. Who will be that lucky winner? Find out on Total...Drama...Paper:...Go To Print!"

*Total Drama Paper: Go To Print intro: A Lakitu drops a book from the air onto the ground as it opens on landing, popping up Lavalava Island and the camera zooms into it, entering the Paper World as it continues to zoom onto Lavalava Island, cameras pop up on tripods as Chris and a few contestants from this series (A/N: season for our overseas readers) wave to the main drone, the drone flies over a few rocky ledges down to a beachy area where Tyler and Bridgette are about to kiss before the drone bonks Tyler in the head and leaves Bridgette shaking her fist at said drone as it flies off after dodging a rock thrown by her, the drone then flies over to Beth and Sadie playing a prank on Cody, Sadie then turns to see Katie watching Geoff hanging out with Gwen and sighing dreamily, Heather runs past the drone with Cody in her arms as it flies towards a pair of shelters with Heather running into one, the camera zooms in on the other shelter with Alejandro glaring down at Leshawna and Eva from the top bunk, both clearly planning something as they hide the plans when Lindsay walks in like she owns the place, the drone flies out through the chimney towards the forest where Owen and Izzy are working on martial arts moves together, as Noah watches dreamily before being interrupted by an Archeops picking him up and abducting him, with Courtney hot on his tail. The Archeops then flies past a Wingull that Chef captures and throws into a pyrex dish, which disgusts DJ and Duncan, making DJ puke in the process. As the drone flies out of the jungle, it passes by Mt. Lavalava where Trent is now fighting the same Archeops seen earlier while being watched by Sierra as an intern, the drone then falls towards Mt. Lavalava's centre, as the smoke rises towards the sky it becomes nighttime, the camera pans down to Harold and Ezekiel about to kiss by the campfire before Chris gets between them, the camera zooms out to everyone but the aforementioned three whistling the end of the opening theme*

Chris: "Here on Lavalava Island we got 2 team cabins, a little larger than the ones you've seen before on the original show. But they're actually better, not by much due to budgetary constraints but I tried my best here. Unlike the original me I actually have some form of sanity here. Anyway, our first contestant is arriving now. He is none other than the Codemeister himself, Cody Anderson!"

The camera pans to Cody arriving on Lavalava Island with a duffel bag and rucksack.

Cody: "What's shakin' Chris?"

Cody then shakes Chris's hand as the camera zooms closer to them.

Chris: "We're only getting started Cody. Ladies and gentlemen, the big man has arrived! Devon 'DJ' Joseph!"

DJ jumps off the boat and bearhugs Chris.

DJ: "What's up my dude? This is the right place isn't it? It actually looks better than the brochure somehow!"
