The rain was heavy as thunder flashed once and a while. Dottore entered the lab as he walked around before bumping into something.

" ACK— WHAT IN TEYVAT?!— "

He turned around to see your leg, you were huddled up by a table as you covered your ears, Dottore calmed down as he sat beside you and hugged you softly.

" Y/N? Is everything okay? "

You shook your head, the rain was too loud. The thunder was too loud. It scared you.

" .. Are you.. Scared of the thunder? "

He asked softly, a comforting smile on his face as he slowly took his mask off as a way to take care of you. He only ever took it off around you. He loves you dearly. He took his coat off as well and placed it on you to keep you warm.

" .. Doctor. When will it stop .. ? "

He sighed as he looked out the window. Knowing it wouldn't go away so soon as you needed it to.

" .. I'm sorry doll. I don't think it'll go away. It might take a few hours. "

You sighed as you leaned closer to Dottore, feeling scared.

" .. Then. Will you stay with me until those hours are done? "

He sighed, even though him and Pantalone agreed to do work. He nodded, he soon hugged you and kissed your forehead

" I'll be here. Nothing will hurt you, the raiden shogun can't hurt you here. I promise. "

You smiled a bit to him mentioning the raiden shogun. You chuckled as you laid in his arms, so comforted by how he showed his love to you and only you. How his voice flowed from his mouth to your ears as if blocking anything else. He loved you so deeply that words could barely explain.

" And .. If anyone hurts you. I'm right here. Y/N. "

You nodded as you two spent hours on end talking and chatting. From experiments to your future together, you both loved each other deary, especially Dottore. You felt so safe in his arms. Especially how he always reassured you that you'd be okay whenever you jolted from the thunder bolts in the sky.
