Earth 2, JSA Pit Stop Garage
"So, you guys really hang around in a garage." Kara says, looking around.
"Yeah, you guys don't have like a Headquarters or anything?" Barry asks.
"It was my friend's and his step daughter's idea." Jay said, with a chuckle. "I didn't wanna question their choices so I just went with it."
"By the way, who are exactly we waiting on?" Kara curiously asks.
"This friend of mine, his name is Pat. His stepdaughter and her friends formed a new version of the hero team I was once apart of." Jay answers.
"What was the team called?"
"The Justice Society of America. The team was formed after the second world war, and for a while things were going well. Until...
"Until what?"
Jay sighs and turns to Kara, remembering the night he went to fight the ISA along with the rest of the Justice Society.
"Several years back, the JSA went to this mansion to stop our rival team, the Injustice Society-
"Not really good with original names, are they?" Barry interrupts. Jay gives Barry an awkward stare, while Kara looked down.
"That's my bad, just k-keep going." Barry says. Jay nods turns back around.
"Like I was saying. The JSA and the ISA were fighting at a mansion. It was brutal. Some of us died, others left the team, while some of ended up in the Shadowlands, including me."
"What's the Shadowlands?" Kara asks.
"The Shadowlands are a place of darkness, shadows, and emptiness that exists within us. It is fueled by our negative emotions. I was stuck in there for years. I've seen a lot of bad memories. Getting captured and incarcerated by Zoom, seeing my team mates die at that mansion. Eventually one of our old enemies turned allies, Richard Swift, aka the Shade got me out of there.
"I'm sorry to hear that. It must have been terrible, seeing all those terrible memories." Kara sympathizes, putting her hand on his shoulder.
"I'm just glad it's over." Jay said, with a very radiant smile.
"Let's hope you never have to go through anything that again." Barry said, as Pat entered the garage with Peter, Courtney and the rest of the JSA.
"Look, Courtney, I'm sorry I lied-
"It's okay, Peter. You had no where else to go and you didn't think we'd believe your multiple Earths explanation. I'm not mad. But, this isn't important right now. We got to focus on stopping this speedster."
"His name is Hunter Zolomon, aka Zoom." Jay tells Courtney, walking up to her.
