My Saturday with you

Cute

It was a typical Saturday morning. Nothing new. Nothing special. I was walking in the park. Looking around. Finding something that might caught my interest and maybe... just maybe... will get things better. Well... I really don't have a problem. It's just that... there is nothing special.

You see. I have a stable corporate job. I don't love it but I don't hate it either. Besides it pays the bill. I thought to myself, there is nothing to complain in my life, right? I have my own apartment, own car, and enough savings to live a comfortable life. But something is missing... Special? Hmmm... Maybe? I shrugged.

You know what, let's just continue walking.

Meow... meow... meooowwww...

"Awww what a cute cat." I'm not a a cat person nor a dog person well I don't really like animals in general but I find this little kitty cute.

"July! July! July! Where are you?" I turn around and saw a boy. He is shouting July and his voice seems like to cry any minute now. He must be looking for his cat. Oh wait...

"Hey! Are you looking for this cat?" He turn around, run towards me and shouted "July! Oh my God! I thought I lost you!"

Then he notice me. "Ahm, he-hello Sir. Thank you for finding my cat. I been looking for him for quite a while now."

Then he look at me and I saw the most beautiful pair of doe eyes.

"Sir! Sir! Sir!" My thoughts went back to reality. "Ah yeah no problem. He just run to me. Good that you find him now. I'll get going now. Bye."I wave, turnaround and about to walk away when I hear...

"What is your name Sir? I'm Nunew! And he flash the most beautiful smile I ever saw. His cheeks turns light pink. Maybe due to long exposure in the sun.

"Oh. Yeah my name is Zee." I replied and smile back. Maybe my eyes trick me but his cheeks turn much redder.

"Oh he-hello P'Zee. Nice name. Thank you again and hope to see you again soon!" Then he walk away with his cat on his arms.

See you again. I whispered. Then I just continued walking as well.

Saturday again... I'll just finish my breakfast then I'll go to the park. Just like the any other Saturdays, I will be spending this day walking and walking and walking at the park.

Then I saw him. Sitting at the bench. I was staring at him and thought to myself he's kinda cute actually. He has a short black hair, pointy nose, pale skin and plump lips...

I don't know how long I have been staring at him when I hear...

"P'Zee! Hi, It's me Nunew nice to meet you again!" Then there is this light pink blush in his cheeks again.

"Oh Hi Nunew! Nice to see you again here! Do you often come here?" I asked.

"Well we just moved in here last week. I wanted to have a walk with July and found this park pretty relaxing. So before I knew it I am coming back here..." He replied. "How about you P'Zee? Do you come here often?"

"Yup. I always come here every Saturday. I find this place pretty relaxing as well." I move towards him and sit beside him on the bench.

Then our conversation went on and on. We mostly talked about ourselves. What keeps us busy, hobbies, etc. I found out he is in his last year on the university. They moved in here as it is much closer to his father's job which is also closer to his university. He is taking up Humanities... It was almost lunch time when we bid goodbye to each other.

Another Saturday. Oh but wait. Something is different.
I woke up 1 hour before my usual time to wake up. Hmmm. Nope nothing is special. Maybe I just woke up a bit early today. Nothing sus about it. Hmm but what am I seeing in the mirror. "Why are you smiling idiot?" I growl at the reflection of myself.
