Present
"And so, after two attempts on their lives, Rain and Sky were led to their house and where they were never aloud to step, even half a step outside their court yard." The story teller explained, "This caused resentment. This cause one of the boys to try and escape" The story teller held his audience in the palm of his hand, "The family history has recorded that there was tension between the two families leading up to this, and this is what led to them being labelled "Unwilling Brides".

"God!! how long are we to be held here?" Rain was getting frustrated. They have been locked away in this part of the mansion, there was a charming courtyard but they were not aloud to step a foot out of it. Rain who had always been a free spirt had found the restriction tough to follow. "Rain, please stop pacing" Sky was feeling the strain as well, so Rain pacing was not helping him stay calm.
"I would if I could just leave here" Rain sat down with a thud, "We are not helpless, so even if they do not let us go outside mansion, the least they can do is let us wander inside the mansion?" He growled his frustration. "We only see the same four people, two servants, Phayu and Pai"
Sky just nodded with his friend's rant, as he too, was so frustrated with the lack of freedom and limited guess. "I am sick of their faces and their high and mighty attuited!" Rain kicked the table.
"Are we that terrible?" A deep voice asked behind them. Both boys turn to see Pai and Phayu at the door. Phayu was frowning at the two boys. "You know we are trying to keep you safe?" he questioned.
"But are you?" Rain pushed back, his anger was noticeable, "Or is it just an excuse to keep us locked up?"
"Rain!!" Sky tugged his sleeve and tried to get him to make eye contact but Rain was finally letting his feelings out and nothing was going to stop him
Phayu narrowed his eyes at the clearly angry boy, "And why would I do that little kitten?"
Rain flushed red with anger, "Who are you calling little kitten?". Phayu bent down and put his face close to Rain's. "I am calling the little one I am to marry a kitten" he said with a smirk, "My defenceless, cute but angry little kitten".
Sky who knew what was about to happen and could not move fast enough to stop it. Rain temper had reached boiling point, a red haze descended across his eyes and all thoughts left his head - bar one!
He headbutted Phayu's nose. Phayu's head snapped back in surprise and his grabbed his nose. He looked at his hand that had a little blood on it. "I AM NOT DEFENCELESS!" Rain shouted as he jumped to his feet. Sky jumped up as well and grabbed his friend.
"Rain, calm down now!" he whispered in Rain's ear. Phayu looked at the two boys in rage.
"What the fuck!" he cried and he looked at Pai. Pai looked shocked at what had just happened. OK, Phayu was teasing Rain a bit, but the headbutting? Overacting a bit?
"I suggested you two calm down" Pai started to say but he was interrupted by Sky.
"Calm down?" he asked throwing dagger eyes at the older man, "Calm down - you have us trapped in here like criminals. We can not leave without your permission, with no news on our families and you two treating us like idiots" Sky turned and directed his anger at both of the older men, "We feel trapped, alone and cut off from the real world!" Sky even though he did not shout, his feelings of discontent was felt by the two men.
"Look, we are trying to keep........"Pai started to say but was cut off by Rain. "We don't need to be kept safe and we are leaving right now". Rain grabbed Sky's hand and made a move to leave.
