Johan's pov:

I ran as fast as I could to class. When I reached the door I could see that the lesson had already started.
Dang it, I'm to late.
I turned the handle as slowly as I could just so that I could spare the embarrassment for a few more seconds.

"Mr. Johan" the teacher exclaimed angrily.
"You're late"
"Yes I know, the bus was late" I said to try and save myself.
"Ok then, go sit down and I'll let this one slide"

I sat down so fast at the only empty seat that I didn't see who I was sitting next to. It wasn't until a bit later in class I saw just who I was stuck with for the rest of the year.

I started to get bored and started looking around the classroom. There was faces i recognized from last year; Jo, Vilde, Sondre, and so many more.

Then I finally looked next to me and realized why this seat was the only one that was empty.
Him
He was sitting there feet on the desk, hands behind his head and sunglasses over his eyes.
Was he...Sleeping?

Good. I thought.
Then he doesn't know I'm here.
I went back to focusing on the teacher.

~after class~

I was walking down the hallway on my way to meet my friends. Suddenly I got stopped by a hand grabbing my shoulder from behind.

I freeze in horror thinking the worse. I finally relaxed when I heard the voice of the person grabbing me.

"Hey bro,"

Sondre.
My old friend. We haven't talked in a few years, ever since he got his glow up and became popular all of a sudden. I shorta hated his guts, I felt like he ditched me. But then again he didn't choose to be popular.

"I saw what happens earlier, I just want you to know I'm here if you want to talk"
He said in a deep voice that I have to admit was a little attractive.

"If you saw what happened, why didn't you do anything?"
I said on a sour note.

"I was going to, promise. But it was over before I could do anything"
He said, sounding a bit pissed off.

"JOHAN!! OVER HERE"

Violet.

"Look, I have to go. But thanks anyways"
I said forcing a smile, pushing his hand away from my shoulder.

As I ran towards Magnus and Violet I could feel his stare in the back of my head.
Could it be he wanted to be friends again?
No. He just wanted to know he was there. It means nothing.

~at lunch~

"I saw you talking to Sondre earlier"
We where sitting in our usual spot outside behind some big trees.
I forced myself to eat the food my mom had packed me; bread with prim and prime as a drink.

Disgusting

Magnus was lost in a book while eating his pb&j's while Violet was looking at me waiting for me to answer.

"So?"
"So what, what did he say?"
"Oh, n-n-nothing. Just saying hi"
"You sure?"
"Yea, it's nothing really hehe." I laughed nervously.
"If you say so"

We both went back to eating our lunch.
I silently hoped that she wouldn't ask anymore questions, but knowing her she would. Hopefully not something to intrusive this time.
