"Welcome to Mistfall everyone!" announced a dark brown girl standing on top of a block. "Today will be a laid-back day with lots of getting used to! We have a tour available. Or if you just want to figure out where things are for yourself that's acceptable too!"
"Come on Aspen, let's find our cabin."
We were disrupted by a girl called Amelia, she asked if she could walk with us. She was tall and had light brown hair with blonde highlights and pinkish-red eyes. She had a walkable suitcase and a teal and black sports string bag around her shoulders, she stood tall as a straight-up white-spotted Pintabian walked past us. "That's my baby, Cloudbelle. She is one of my greatest purchases." she smiled sweetly.
"Is she dressage?" asked Aspen eyeing the beautiful horse. "Yes, she is very well-trained for a young mare," Amelia answered. "I won her at a dressage auction, she's as beautiful as her mom." Aspen nodded and started to walk, we followed her to a patch of dirt and one cabin to the left and to the right. There was a cabin decorated with pink and purple streamers welcoming the new and soon Mistfall Rangers. We stepped up the steps leading to the small cabin, it had 4 beds facing each other and a loft with storage units to put clothing and accessories. "This is so cool!"
"Why are there 4 beds? Isn't there only 3 of us?" I exclaimed. Aspen shrugged and started to put and organize her clothing on the bed. Amelia set her string bag on the bed facing mine. I lay in the comfort of the bed and closed my eyes for a second. Until Amelia started talking about one of the Rangers she saw. Alonso __, "He's adorable! But I wouldn't get any ideas." Aspen laughed and admitted he was kind and inspiring. And he knew what he was doing like he did this before. I sat up, listening to two of them. "what do you think, Song?" asked Aspen. "I don't know he's kind of intimidating," I said. Amelia nodded. Aspen agreed. "Same Song, he was really pretty and I didn't know what to think of him, the first time I saw him."
"You saw him before?" I asked Amelia nodded confidently. "I live by Starshine Ranch, he was walking around with his horse. And seemed to notice an unfamiliar face very quickly. He said hello and introduced himself to me and his horse. A while later, he asked me to come to this camp. I agreed and he was happy that I was going. "Why was he so happy?" I asked curiously. "Maybe just a familiar face to see around."
I nodded.
"Anyone wants to hang by the stables with me?" I and Aspen nodded and was about to stand up, but a sound of a door being pushed open stopped us. "Hi, Gloria!" Amelia smiled at the dark brown-haired girl, she was carrying two bright pink suitcases and an aesthetic pink backpack, with plenty of first-place dressage ribbons hung on the zippers. She lifted her hot pink sunglasses to glance around the small cabin until looking at Amelia. "I thought I was going on a dressage camp." She whispered to Amelia, "This is a refreshing camp. Didn't you want a break from dressage?" Gloria stared at her for a second, then remembered something. "Yes, that's true Amelia," she sighed.
Violet stormed through the door and we all stared, "Getting along I see?"
"Yeah, Violet is my horse here yet?"
"Yes, Gloria."
"Good. Anyways where do I put my tack?" Gloria asked quickly, feeling uneasy. "I'll show you, Gloria," Amelia stood up and carried 3 of her saddle pads and Violet grabbed the saddle from the fence outside. While they left, I asked Aspen about her horse, she brought __ Aspen was so excited to bring him but Juniper was injured by a snake a few weeks earlier. "What horse did you end up picking Aspen?"
"Oh, just Flutterbug. She's not as special as Juniper but she's a good horse." Flutterbug was a white appaloosa mare. She's used for dressage beginners at the stable Aspen and I let our horses stay. Broken Arrow Range, up by Silversong. It used to be an old farm for retired horses and animals to live peacefully. But the animals eventually moved toward Jarlaheim and Jorvik Stables.
