Da da dum.... Da da dum...
I woke up to the sound of Jay's drums. I opened my eyes slowly adjusting to the light. The drums kept on playing as the sound annoyed me.

One.....

Jay better stop

Two.......

Da da dum... I will kill him

Three......

That's it I'm destroying those damn drums.

I stood up in my pyjamas and walked out my room. I don't care to make my bed. I walk past the kitchen and Jay's room. Stupid Jay, it was Saturday! Why the hell would he play the drums at 6:00?! I marched all the way to the garage and I found him hitting the damn drums while he rocked his head with the beat.

"Jay!!!" I screamed and Jay jumped

"Yeah? What?" Jay said innocently

"Shut up!! You're destroying my ears with that thing. Plus it's Saturday?! People need sleep, have you ever heard of sleep? It's the way the body refuels!" I replied, taking advantage of him. Since I was older. The power of older siblings, muhaha.

"Jeez, chill! Fine! I'll shut up, but it has to be a deal that tomorrow I will play how loud and early I want" he told me with his challenged eyes

"Whatever, Jay, you do know that you're a pain in the ass sometimes?" I teased him while I walked away

"So, is that a yes?" I left him without a reply. As I stuck my tongue out at him.

Tsskk.. Brothers.

I walked over to our blue themed kitchen, really the colour hurt my eyes. Blue plates, blue cups, blue sink, blue this blue that. I felt the sudden urge of tearing the paint off. But I knew mom would chop my head off if I do. I took a piece of French toast with sausages and I ate through it

"Good morning Jess" my mother greeted me with a smile

"Morning mom" I replied sleepily

She made her breakfast and gave me a kiss on the cheeks. I tried to look not too annoyed.

"How was your sleep?" she asked

"Bad, very bad" I honestly told her

"Why?" she asked curiously

"Well, how do you think I feel when Jay plays his drums when I'm sleeping" I gave her my annoyed look.

Just then Jay emerges from I don't know where. He is shirtless and wearing the shorts I gave him for his birthday two years ago. Surprisingly it still fitted him. I should have known my brother always went to the gym that is how he earned those hard looking abs. I rolled my eyes at him. This is probably how he got those girls

"What do you think? Was it worth going to the gym?" he grinned

"Pleeeeaase" I exaggerated, "It ain't enough to earn a girl" I chuckled

"Hey! Don't talk to them like that" he rubbed his abs while making a sad face

"Jay! Manners please!" my mom snapped

"Yes, mommy" Jay mocked,he loved teasing my mother

Jay sat down with his breakfast and thirty seconds later it vanished

"Jay, I have been told that you have been playing your drums very early in the morning" mom pointed out

"Yes I have" Jay said confidently

"Well, don't, early in the morning you should.......

I refused to listen as I checked my phone.

"Jess, Jess!" my head snapped towards her and my brother held his laugh.

"Sorry gotta go mom" I grinned
