Petra stared at the clock above the board, watching it tick away as the hands got closer and closer to 3:00. She tapped her foot, itching to put on her suit and be Spider-Girl again. She tapped her pen on her desk, trying to preoccupy herself until finally—
RIIIIIIIIING!!!!
Petra quickly got up and grabbed her bag, rushing to get out of the room.
"Please make sure to read the rest of chapter 1 by tomorrow!" Their teacher announced as Petra left the room. She speed walked to the exit, trying to hide her excitement as students exited the other classroom, talking and gossiping to each other. Once Petra got out of the school, she made her way to the nearest alleyway to the school.
She pulled off her shirt and pants, making sure nobody could see her. She pulled out her suit from her bag and struggled to put it on. "God, tights suck." She almost fell over when she tried to put on her first foot in. Once she successfully put on the body suit, she attached her web-shooters before finally putting her mask on. She was once again, the one and only, Spider-Girl.
She webbed her bag up onto the wall before running up the side of the building and up to the rooftop. She jumped once she made it to the top, launching her up in the air before she shot web and started swinging.
"WOOOOOOHOOOOH!" Spider-Girl celebrated happily as she swung through the streets of New York. "GOOD AFTERNOON NEW YORK!!!"
People in the sidewalks stared in awe as they saw Spider-Girl swung by, some taking pictures, some even greeting her. "Hello, pedestrians!" Spider-Girl greeted them before she started to swing towards the direction of Daily Bugle. "Time to get my paycheck."
She suddenly heard someone scream for help. She reacted quickly and started to look for the person, finally spotting a woman about to get robbed in an alleyway.
"Someone, help!" The woman screamed out as the robber held a knife to her.
"Shut up!" The robber threateningly told her, making the woman flinch. "Give me your purse, and you can walk out of here."
"I wouldn't recommend you doing that."
Both of them looked up to see Spider-Girl sticking beside the wall, looking down on the robber. "That purse does not go with your outfit at all."
While the robber was staring at Spider-Girl, worry in his eyes, the woman ran out of the alley. The robber was broken out of his stare and watched the woman run away. "Hey—!"
Spider-Girl shot a web at his back and lifted him up, making the robber yelp and drop the knife. "Put me down!" The robber yelled at her.
"Ah-ah, you are going on a timeout, mister." Spider-Girl said. "And I know just what to do..."
.....
.....Spider-Girl wiped her hands as she looked at her work. She hung the robber in front of the building, making sure he was wrapped up in a cozy web, and of course, put a 'Courtesy Of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Girl' card.
People started to take pictures of the robber as he tried to break free from her webs. "Someone call the cops!" The robber cried out, making Spider-Girl proud of herself before she swung away, heading towards The Daily Bugle.
[The Daily Bugle]
Petra fixed her hair and her clothes as she went down the elevator. She had finally made it to the Daily Bugle. She looked at the pictures she held in her hand, looking through them. "Spider-Girl is really photogenic." She whispered to herself before the elevator dinged, signaling that she had arrived.
