The Jamike Story Contest

Winners!!!

It's the moment you've all been waiting for: the results of The Jamike Story Contest! It's been a long 2 months as I received a TON of submissions. In the end, though, there can only be 1 grand winner.

If your story didn't make the top 3 or even an honorable mention, it's not because your story wasn't good; I just felt like the top qualifiers' stories had a higher rating. Believe me, I've been tempted to have everyone be a winner, but that's not much of a contest.

On that note, let's begin!

Number 3: "One Last Request" by greystonemeu

Admittedly, it's not the longest in the list of entries, but it surely goes to show that short can be good! In this story, Mike and Jamie's spirit visit Fazbear's Fright, only to discover a familiar individual from Jamie's past...the rest can be revealed in the story itself. Overall, it was emotional on many levels, and it made me smile with adorableness. Great job, GreyStone!

Number 2: "Five Nights at Freddy's: Getting Her Back" by the_mangle1987

This is one of the oldest stories in the contest, and it's sparked lots of interest in the Jamike community! If you haven't read it, it follows Mike going back to Wisconsin to, as the title suggests, get Jamie back! As well as trying to save Jamie, there's a side story of murders at a nearby crappy motel. Overall, it had me guessing and gasping all the way through. Nice work, Mangle!

Now, let's take a look at 4 honorable mentions...

HM 1: "Fragments" by Blewberri

This story followed Jamie being stuck in the void, trying to find a way out all the while contacting Mike. It's another short story that really does a good job at tugging at emotions. Nice work, Blew!

HM 2: "A Time to Remember" by DarthFraser

This was a unique plot of Mike traveling to the afterlife and, with the help of another deceased character, saving Jamie. A great use of words and ideas! Excellent job, Darth!

HM 3: "Jamike: Let Go" by HenryHero

Talk about short being sweet. This story depicts Jamie's spirit telling Mike to find a relic to release her spirit. Man, oh man, is there good detail in this story! Right from the beginning, I knew this was going to be good. So much detail went into how Mike felt about Jamie's death...and the ending was shocking, but sweet at the same time. Great job, Henry!

HM 4: "#Jamike: A Voids Light" by Tyraurus

This story really got me a bit. In this story, there apparently was no heaven or hell, but rather a purgatory-type void. And there was a unique way of Jamie going to see Mike that almost made me tear up...very creative, Ty!

Number 1: "Jamike: Infinity" by MattPad2099

To say I found this story amazing is an understatement. It had so much detail and a great story! It managed to incorporate my past FNAF stories in a natural way, as well as FNAF as a whole! Sure, there weren't many romantic scenes between Mike and Jamie, but when there were, they were beautiful. I'd highly recommend reading this story if you haven't already; you won't regret it!

Alright, that's a wrap, folks! I really enjoyed making this story contest, and I'm glad you all enjoyed it! Again, if you weren't mentioned, don't feel bad; not everyone can win.

And hey, just because the contest is over doesn't mean the stories have to be! If your story is incomplete and you want to finish it, go ahead! And if you want to write a Jamike story if you haven't already, go right ahead! It won't be counted for the contest, obviously, but maybe that lack of pressure can motivate you to do this for fun!
