The dark and eerie night quickly approached the city of Domino.

Kaiba was stuck yet again with huge piles of paperwork. Work that couldn't be done without his signatures on each and every one of them. He had already worked passed his working hours today.
Nothing strange compared to other days. The only difference was that today he wanted to quickly wrap it up so that he wouldn't miss Joey's concert. A performance Joey had been practicing for weeks to perfect.

Joey wasn't a big star or anything, but his new fame as a guitar player was quickly getting recognized by new people for each live play he did. Something that Kaiba had been following closely.

The blooming relationship between the two was quite new. They had after graduation kept up their communication with one another, which all started thanks to Mokuba, who had been trying so hard to get anyone from the OG yuugi group to keep in touch with his very isolated brother, and when Joey was the only one who responded and tried, it somehow made Seto open up a little, which Mokuba says is thanks to him and some luck, while Joey says it's thanks to his charisma, charm and unique way of wooing people. If you asked Seto, he would reply with "I didn't want to worry Mokuba anymore." But no one knew of that, since no one asked him.

After a few more minutes of working, he decided that it was enough. Joey's group had already started to play, and he wasn't there to witness it. It bummed Seto quite a lot, so he took his things and left the company building. He took his car to a small arena where Joey was playing at.

As Seto exited the car, he could hear the melody of Joey's guitar echo through the cold winds of Domino. It made Seto's hair stand up... the way his music managed to control Seto like that. It bothered him in a way, yet let it happen as his music was something he enjoyed hearing as well.

As Seto went closer to the arena, he managed to get a glimpse of the blonde man. He had a big bright smile across his lips. His hair was a mess, (more then usual). Seto noticed how Joey tried to lick his hair back, but that mop of hair of his refused to follow any instructions and did it's own thing instead. Joey was covered in sweat, which the bright lights shining on him made it look like he was sparkling.

Maybe it was Joey's charm, but Seto had been feeling his chest beating abnormally  harder every time he was around him. Every time he saw him or heard his voice through the phone. Even seeing his texts made his heart beat faster.  It was uncomfortable for the brunette, yet his doctors told him that he was totally fine, and the 'issue' of his quick heartbeats was from something completely normal.

"Maybe I have an allergy towards dogs..."  Seto muttered underneath his breath as he watched what was left of the show. Once Joey was done playing, he bowed and went down from the stage with everyone there clapping at yet another successful guitar show. As fast as Joey was out of sight, Seto quickly went towards the back of the stage to find him.

"You did somewhat good today. 7/10 I would say."

Seto commented and thew a towel at the blondes face. A towel that originally was going to be carried by one of the staff members.

Joey groaned as he wasn't ready for the throw, and quickly pulled the towel away from his face to look at who it was. Once he saw that it was Seto, he couldn't help but to grin. Seto had managed to go to every show of his, when his friends hadn't even had the time to go to a single one... showing up and being there meant a lot for the blonde. He wiped his face with the towel and walked closer to Seto, now grinning wider at him.

"That's a whole point more then last time~ I see that as success~"

Joey answered the brunette with a soft chuckle at the end, which made Seto smile. It was a soft smile you had to look closely to see, but it was there, and Joey could see it.
