Day -243 - Origins of Captain London

Cpt. London was on the EUS - Icecrusher, a massive ship that was used for cargo, he was driving the ship along with 2 other Captains, every captain having their own monitor to check but London was the sole driver.
As the submarine as making it's way through the cold and icy waters of Europa suddenly a strong current began pulling them in, glowing lights lit the dark sea floor as the ship got pulled into the rocks, upon impact the walls got damaged, the toxic water began filling the upper hull of the ship.
The fixing attempts were made however the tons of metal was just getting thrown around like paper causing more and more holes as it hit against rocks and ice, Captain London rushed out the control room and got himself a diving suit, people were rushing from their work stations the fix the ship, Captain London heard screams of panic and agony from the lower deck, he looked down and the submarine was getting flooded by Salamanders, Salamanders were sea creatures that had rough scales and that crawled on all fours, they resembled a lizard in appearance
Captain London acted quickly pulling out his trusty revolver and yelling out :

- "MEN TO THE SHUTTLES!"

He began running himself, the water had begun to reach his feet in the upper floors, he had to get out before the creatures wondered to the upper floors, he jumped down from the upper floor to the water, then he began swimming towards the shuttle most of the men were there guards defending the front of the shuttles but some including the passengers were stuck in the top floor, they had no oxygen masks or diving outfits they were destined to die.

He made it in the salamanders scarped by him dashing at the crew members they saw before Captain London, he started the engines of the shuttles and the doors were locked a engineer soon began knocking on the door of the shuttle, his screams would've been muffled by the glass in between them but his headset made him hear the whole thing, the man began screaming while banging against the door while he saw what happened as the salamanders caught him by the legs, he heard :

- "CAPTAIN PLEASE OPEN THE DOOR! CAPTAIN! CAPTAIN!"

He kept yelling as he held on the shuttle's docking locks, his screams became blurred with his cries before the two creatures ripped him apart from the middle and the whole pack began eating him in front of Captain London, his heart had dropped, he never seen a crew member die this close to him, he felt that he could've prevented this he could've just opened that damn door and the guard could've just shot the damn lizards down right?
He felt the cold hand of co-captain Veteran Captain Benett, he had a stern grasp on Captain London's shoulder as he noticed the look of terror and sadness in his fellow Captain's eyes, Captain London's eyes began getting watery before she fully stood up tall and sat next to a crew member, the crew member looked as shocked as Captain London, covered in blood and motor oil, he looked around due to the diving outfit he barely could see their faces, Captain Benett was easy to tell apart he just had a diving mask, however the rest? No way of telling who was who, but everyone expect the guards looked shocked, one guard, Ted was leading the ship to safety he looked for nearby friendly ships while the auto-pilot took them to the nearest outpost.

But they were out of the woods just yet, something was clawing the outside of the escape shuttle, they stopped the shuttle and the guards went to check it, they filled the shuttle with water again, the captain watched the guards as they went outside they suddenly got jumped, they fired however only 1 harpoon hit their skins, they were the damned Salamanders again, they began tearing the guards apart, the only guard inside was now Ted , both Captain Benett and Captain London pulled their pistols out as the water began leaking with the Salamanders clawing scratches in the hull, suddenly the pressure came crashing down and a hole was bursted out, one of the salamanders stuck their head in however failed to fit in, it looked at Captain London like he was mocking him, opening it's disgusting mouth as acid dripped from it, Captain London hit the beast with the pistol, his hands began to burn however he didn't stop till he heard a crack and felt a burst of acid, the acid melted his gloves to his hand but the creature was dead.

The shuttle wasn't capable of moving out now, they had to wait for a rescue team but their radio signal couldn't reach the nearest outpost.
Captain London sat down defeated, while Captain Benett watched from the door's glass seeing the guard's corpses flood around the shuttle.
