*June 2010*
Alexa's POV: Louis and I have kept in touch over the past year, although of us have been busy. Louis just finished 12th grade, and was practicing for the X Factor.
A few months ago, I made a new friend named Megan. We have tons of things in common and hang out a lot.
She is only a year younger than me.
Right now, we are on the plane, on the way to London to see the X Factor auditions.
One of the first people to audition was a young boy with curly hair. His name was Harry Styles, he was 16, and he is from Holmes Chapel in Chesire.
Wow - Harry was a good singer! Megan was staring at him with lovey-dovey eyes; it was obvious that she has a new crush. After a while, Louis walked onstage.
He began to sing "Hey There Delilah."
Harry and Louis both made it to Bootcamp. Megan and I were in a happy mood.

*2 weeks later*
Harry's POV:
"I'm sorry, but you're going home."
The judges said those dreadful words, and I started to cry.
Just as I was about to leave, a man called my name. I walked onstage, along with a few other boys I didn't know.
"We have decided to put you into a group."
I jumped around, screaming. I was going to be friends with my new bandmates; I just knew it.
