Bad was skeppys best friend or well that's what he called himself, he was walking around the palace grounds like he normally did this to clear his mind having wander to where it shouldn't during the job he came across a diamond, but not any diamond it his friend skeppy he hadn't seen him, he mustn't interrupt him he was discussing something with a noble.

Bad gave them both a short greeting to be polite. Nobles can be very judgemental and will nit pick everything about you, especially when it comes to the type of class you are high class, middle class, low class, and lower class.

Bad came from middle class so he didn't get to much judgment besides a couple of here and theirs.

But what he did know was most nobles would suck up to royalty, and especially now or never with the crown prince skeppy.

But in the quick interaction skeppy gave was a stone cold gaze.

A few years back

Bad remembers that day like any other he was standing in line with all other kids, noble kids to be exact he didn't have much business being their but his mother was invited.

But what was this line it was a way to see the young prince skeppy too choose a playmate, bad in other hands thought it was stupid most of the kids where stupid stuck up spoiled kids well some he met a few nice ones here and their but they were far in between.

He was standing for a while when he was met with a serious face but the blue eyes were mesmerizing ,they were deep dark blue jewled eyes one that stood out of a big crowd.

"Hi I'm bad" the small demon stuck his hand out for a hand shake he heard other kids whispering and glare at him he broke a rule but

"Skeppy" the serious look was replaced with a soft smile like he had been waiting for that but after that he looked serious again and moved on.

~after a few hours~

"Everyone the prince has decided on who his playmate while be and it's b-" the maid was cut off when a small prince ran past him towards bad.

"Bad it's you!!!!" Skeppy quickly latched on too the small boy with the queen and a maid behind her.

"Skeppy what have I said about manners" she had beautiful long brown hair and yellowish eyes it was obvious that skeppy and her weren't related.

" But Mrs. Seline I wanted to see bad now www" skeppy let go and looking at her highness

Bad saw the Honestly and genuine gaze the crown prince had he would remember that for years to come

A few years ahead

Skeppy sat in his chair studying while he saw bad read a book he by alot of people have considered him a guard but really the demon was nothing of the sorts he was bads friend a title he's given him but doesn't seem anywhere right.

"Bad" the diamond called out

" Yes you're highness" his formality was very showing and it stung for some reason that he didn't call him skeppy like before

" Is Mrs. Seline any better" his voice was filled with concern skeppy never met his actual mother she well died before he could remember her but Mrs. Seline was like his mom she raised him as her own.

" Skeppy I'm sorry but she passed this morning" bad let out with sadness in his voice.

"What just want do you mean bad!?!?" Skeppy sat up to look at the male who was looking down with sadness

"I was just informed by your father before coming here that she had passed"  bad told him looking over to the boy who was sitting in his chair.

It was quiet for a while until skeppy got up he told bad not to move or leave that he needed to chat with his father. All bad could do was let out a sigh he new skeppy would be upset about the queen.

He saw the tears in the corner of the princes eyes

But it was also that day that those dark blue jewled diamond eyes were dull.

Bad sat on a couch and skeppy on the other side.

"I hope the tea is to your liking" the king spoke it was very peculiar that he called in both boys sometimes it would be one or the other but not both together.

" It's very nice you highness" bad spoke with slight nervousness behind it.

"Mhm but may I ask father why we're here" skeppy answered he wasn't interested on the tea but the reason he was here.

" Now skeppy watch your manners but I suppose I should get on with the reasoning" skeppy rose a brow finally the reason they had been summoned.

"I want bad to work with his magic more" that was all? Skeppy thought did he really have to interrupt both boys about that?

"Than I shall allow bad to study his magic while he has finished his duty's" skeppy answered honestly he new this day would come.

"Great than I shall enroll him in one of the best magic academy their is to offer!" His father was satisfied with that answer but bad and skeppy we're shocked

" That wasn't the deal you're highness I though I would study here" bad spoke up first never did speak up especially royalty.

"Yes if I do recall that was the deal too father" skeppy spoke after bad

"Ah yes I recall that too but o decided for bad to be sent to a better place to offer a better chance of education wouldn't you agree bad" of course he was backing bad into a corner

Skeppy was speechless he couldn't speak at all.

And all bad could do was agree with that the both left.

Bad could also remember the way skeppys add looked distraught and so dull again.

" ONLY to help US get OUT YOU'RE highness" bad looked away he held back tears how could his freindship with skeppy be brought to this

"Bad don't be formal about this look where we are right now!" Skeppy came closer his hand went for bads chin he made him look

Bad let out a shaky breath he was so close right now.

"Bad as your king I have a command an-" he was interrupted

"What is so im-"

"Don't interrupt me bad" pausing before finishing what he was finally going to say.

"I don't care how much were hurt when we escape but I promise you that once we do I'm making sure you say my name screaming, praying, anyway you got that"

" I understand skeppy" bad responded shyly.

"Good but not good enough"

But the gaze skeppy had was serious and something else behind that serious gaze
