As the kids were gone going to get pizza ,back at home in the room of ellie apartments ellie is telling Beth about how Jay left.
" why didn't you tell me el I would have come right away"
She say to ellie in sincerely tone
Ellie looks at her and says
" I did the night he ended it and the night he left "
" Well you know me when I'm on the road I get sucked in deep I never meant for this to happen" beth tells her sister
Before she can say anything else.The guy from earlier passes buy them to go to a room to pack some stuff.
Ellie tells her sister she can stay on the couch but she has to pack.
Luke's pov :
As I'm packing boxes I feel the ground start to shake,so I quickly make my way to the girls and cover them with my body till it's over. Once I feel it stop I get up and pull the girls with me
" You ladies ok " I say towards them before the both nod
Then I see el go out to go look for the kids..
As we knock on the doors ellie ask me to grab my keys which I do,but before we can leave the kids come stepping off the elevator and Kassie comes running to me and I pick her up holding her.
" omg Kassie love are u ok " I say
holding her before going towards danny and bridget and ellie pulling everyone of them,into a hug because this is my family and I can't lose them.
" You never take the elevator after a quake"
ellie says to the three kids before pulling them into a hug..by herself
" Bridge dropped the pizza " kassie says with a innocent look in her eye
"You guys are more important than pizza "
Both me and ellie say to them before ellie pulls them inside the house,I go and tell everyone,that everything's find and that there safe before shutting the door behind me locking it.
Third person:
On the news there could be heard the news lady talking about how the earthquake took out half of the city and they probably won't be back up till morning.
Ellie is seen going in a room to pack up some boxes as Luke's behind her hugging her and talking to her softly .
Back in Danny's room:
"Mom and Luke could use the extra money right now " Danny says looking at bridge with desperate eyes
" You really think mom would take money from something you stole " she replied back
" it's not stolen " he says shaking his head
" it's probably been locked in that vault forever "
" Well yeah but weird shit like this gets locked away for a reason" Bridge says to her brother in all honesty
Danny takes the book and trys to open it but struggles till he picks his finger and as he cleans, it he doesn't notice a
bit dropped on the book and it opens.
Danny and bridget start to flip through the pages and notice how graphic the images are.
Bridget is asking Danny to close it but he keeps flipping through the pages
Bridget closes the book breathing heavy
" I don't like this Dan you need to put it back right now "
She's Saud to him before turning around and leaving
" but mom's not letting anyone out the front door again tonight"
He rushes out
" fine then first thing in the morning,promise me Dan " she says in a urgent tone for him to understand that it wasn't a joke
Luke's pov :
I'm currently on the couch in the livingroom as I watch Kassie telling Beth about how,she needs to wear that stuff while she bathes because she got stung by a jellyfish at the beach.
As she takes Beth to the bathroom room to wash up I'm sitting her drinking a water drowning in my thoughts.
I pull out a black velvet box from my Jean pocket opening it to inspect the ring. And I know what yall are like we'll Luke why do u have a ring.. I was planning on asking ellie to marry me tomorrow because me and her have been through everything together and I love these kids as much own
