The birds flew in the sky, as me,Cody, and Buddy ran away from the one shop owners
"We got b-r-e-a-d!!" Said buddy
" Wow I never expected you could spell bread, so smart." I said
sarcastically.
"Listen we are still going to need more food than this bread." Said Cody
I was a cat named Minx, Buddy was a golden retriever and Cody was a German shepherd. And we live in a huge cyberpunk like city. And we are strays, abandoned by our owners. Gosh, I hate humans. They adopt us to be given a good role, then they dump us on the side of the road once they get bored of us!
"Boys let's lay low in this alley, we have been running for awhile." I said in a sharp voice
"Minx are you the boss of us?" Buddy asked angrily
"Yes, I have more stamina and I have better plans, plus whenever we use your plan to steal foods we always get caught. And that applies to both of you!" I said clarifying that I was the leader.
"Yeah yeah" Buddy said.
After we finished eating I decided to leave the alley while the two idiots slept, finally some alone time. I walked along the road, it was raining, it's fine I've been in worse weather. The water flew down the sky getting me socken wet. A car drove by, splashing water on me! Such rude humans. I continued to walk till the end of the road where I saw a robot, broken, but new. I decided to go closer to it, and it began to move. I quickly jumped back. It slowly got up, after being. Left in the rain it was rustic, But as if it was new it started to however there ground and chase me, I ran down the road my glossy white fur shining in the rain I turned a corner, it turned a corner, I ran into an alley way, it ran into an alley way. I finally lost it whenever I got back to base where the boys were peacefully sleeping.
"Wake up now!! A robot chased me!" I started to say
"*Yawns* robots can't chase you they all got shut off and broken, you're probably hallucinating." Said Cody
"I'm not joking one was chasing me down the road!" I continue to say
"Cody's right, all robots got shut off and broken after one killed somebody." Buddy said.
Did these two idiots seriously not believe me? It didn't matter what did matter, it was what was climbing up the stairs and into the base..
"What is that...?" Cody asked
"I don't know...." Replied buddy
But I could clearly see what it was, a robot.
"A ROBOT...!" Howled Cody
We began to run away but the robot only went faster and faster.
"Aren't they meant to be broken?!" Exclaimed Buddy
"Yeah why is this one alive?" Asked Cody
Water splashed against our paws as we ran through the wet ground. Cars honking as we ran across streets. The robot was in the air chasing us. Out of sight of the humans. We finally where able to hide from the robot, It flew past us.
"Ok what was that?" Cody asked
"A robot you idiot, I wasn't joking" I answered
A noise came from every device in the city.
"Hello citizens of the City Madar, Some of you may have noticed the robots. The robots are there to take your liberty away. Robots like this have been planted all across the globe so I'm sorry you're not special, but yet again I am a robot so I cannot feel emotions. Now please do not resist. The last people who resisted were in California. They died awful deaths. Truly tragic, have a good day, it will be your last. And welcome robots, to your new home." The intercoms said
