"I must say, Lady Margaret. I have fallen deeply in love with you" he said, kissing her palms.
"Well" Lady Margaret didn't seem to believe what she was hearing, but she didn't want to be cruel to another woman.
"What must you say?" he said looking worried.
"I must say that I don't love you too" she lied.
"Why?" he said.
"Lady Martha Stewart has been betrothed to you since you were little piglets and she is to marry you" she said, almost in an angry tone.
"I didn't ask to be betrothed to her" he said.
"I don't want to be with you, Lord Edward" she said and left the palace room.
He walked out and joined her at the garden.
"If you want, I could make you mine" he said, his British accent sending a promising message.
"Really?" but she didn't believe him.
"Don't you trust me?" he said. But this wasn't about trust, it was about family.
