"-you may begin." Ozpin said, with a tap of his cane the students were sent flying towards the Emerald Forest.

The students were now in the air, a tranquil silent followed suit as you could only hear the sound of gushing winds and maybe the sounds of crying students.

Araysh took a moment to take in the sight of the forest below him. Then he bore a determined expression.

His coat flapping behind him, rustling in the wind. He out stretched his arms  exposing his sleeves to the aggressive winds.

Without a moment to think. Out burst a pair of jet black wings from his sleeves completely replacing his arms.

These wings are no better than dirt. But it gets the job done by making him glide softly to the ground.

Araysh moved his arm-wings infront of him then quickly behind him. Generating enough speed to nose dive to the ground.

The ground of the forest was speedily approaching him. Thinking quickly he raised his wings to slowly glide down. He entered a standing stance as he approached the ground and slowly glided down until his feet reached the dirt.

Feeling the ground once again he ran using the momentum to run. to slowdown the force of the sudden landing.

Araysh regained balance and retracted his wings from his sleeves. The black wings slowly disintegrated back to his sleeves.

Checking his arms he nodded in amusement as he actually stuck the landing, he thought that he was gonna get a face full of dirt ever since he did the nose dive.

"Phew! Way too close." Araysh swiped the sweat from his brow. He looked to the deep forest and started walking.

His goal is to either find Velvet or Leonard as those were the only ones he knew. Though he can't be too picky as fate is know to play tricks with him sometimes.

Background: A boy that came from Vale his family was slaughtered in a robbing incident, only remaining is himself and his sister who was not there at the time of attack

Weapon of Choice: A pair of silenced pistols he specifically asked the Academy for subsonic ammunition. He even gave us instructions to creat such bullets. One of our professors was quite ecstatic to find such high quality bullets.

Semblance: From our observation and his explanation of his semblance. It is the ability manipulate shadows, the limit with what appears just to be his imagination and the molecular structure of his creations. It appears that he can only manipulate existing shadows and not create them, so he would need a source of shadow to use his semblance. Thus his choice of attire.
