Kagayaku Ito was bored, after all there wasn't much to do as a teenager living in an abandoned building
He had a job at a small cat cafe but his shift didn't start until 9AM
He was broken out of his thoughts when a cat went up to him and started meowing
"Hey Bee" he said happily as he got up from the old couch.
Bee meowed leading Ito to her food bowl
"Slow down I haven't even gotten your food yet" He laughed and went to get her food
After feeding Bee he checked the time on his phone, It was 8:53. "I gotta go to work, be good while I'm gone okay Bee?"
Bee meowed in response as he patted her on the head. he doubted that the fluffy cat could understand him but it was cute to see her meow like she could
'Shit! It's already 8:57 I'm going to be late!'
He raced down the stairs of the old abandoned building, when he got outside and ran as fast as he could in the crowded streets
"Sorry!" He said after bumping into a girl with black and purple hair. She looked oddly familiar but he just brushed it off as a coincidence.
He finally got to the cafe and he was just in time he was almost late.
"Hey Hisui..." Ito said out of breath as he opened that cafe door. "Hey Ito! You look tired, I can get you a coffee if you would like don't worry about paying!"
"Thanks that would be awesome. Your a real life saver Hisui" Ito said.
"Is Shiruku here today or is it just us on shift?" Ito asked
"Just us, Shiruku is sick. Hopefully he gets better soon." Hisui replied
The bell on the door rang and a familiar girl with black and purple hair walked into the cafe
'Isn't that the girl I bumped into earlier?' Ito thought
