"This is what you get mommy, for yelling at me and saying all these mean things to me. A mistake, a little shit-you loved calling me that don't you mommy?!"
Mom just twitches and coughs as she's slowly bleeding out. I slash her cheek with a hard swipe of my fingernails as it tear a little through her skin; she groans from the pain.
"I asked you a question mom! Oh god, even on the brink of death you continue to ignore me...and don't care! For anything I say! You and Dad! Always ignore me! Don't even care about my well-being whatsoever! I hate you! I hate you! I hate you I HATE YOU!!"

The room got silent again aside from my mother gawking and choking on her own blood as she's slowly drifting away. I stare over at her crying my eyes out.
"Mommy...? Are you leaving me? Please don't go please, mommy I'm sorry please don't leave me alone. I'M BEGGING YOU DON'T GO MOMMY DON'T GO!!"

I grab onto her shoulders aggressively shaking her back and forth for her not to go. I told her everything, I love her, I'm sorry for being such a bad daughter, I promise to be better...but she still went away...she died...in my hands...

"This is what you preferred huh...? Dying over being there for me..." I was crying...seemingly hurt...but I wasn't...I was glad she died...she caused me hell...her and dad...but I'm here...crying...crying for her to come back...is this love...? I look at my small knife, I immediately detest it...it won't save Y/N... "This won't work on Kara, she's a big threat...I need something bigger."

I walk down to the kitchen and draw out a bigger knife from the knife set and drop the smaller one. I stare at my reflection through the blade, I don't look as how I was anymore...weak.

The Next Day

Kara

"Dad? Yeah, I'm gonna need you to come over to the school, and bring backup with you because I don't think it's going to be a safe situation."
"What do you mean sweetheart? You found the potential suspect?"
"Yeah, and it's exactly who you suspected it to be. That old man's own daughter is the murderer, Arla. Her boyfriend told me what he knows about the situation..."

"My ex girlfriend was her best friend...when we were together she never let me talk to Arla at all. It was when things got bad between us Arla stood up and told me what was going on, I confronted her, Arla defended me...Karina hated us both and she hated us together. So she took her anger out on poor Arla...and began picking on her."

"That other girl that got killed is his ex...what story do you think makes more sense that led to Karina getting brutally stabbed? The culprit is obviously someone who was really hurt by this individual. Her story about her dad made no sense."
"Her father has no relations with that Karina girl whatsoever, it's more by his daughter but for some reason she's the one with the less stab wounds. Ada girl, I knew I could count on my partner in crime in this."
"But that's not all, the girl that got killed 2 days ago?"
"You think Arla did that too?"
"I know she did, I saw Arla with her going into the school compound to find a classroom."
"Hmm, thanks Kara."
"Anytime Dad. Just bugs me though how you didn't figured she lied."
"I knew she lied, but I had no detail to debunk her lie. Which was I transferred you over to the school."
"I knoww, I just wanted to pick on you a little bit," I say with a smile as Dad laughs through the speaker.
"Same old daughter."
"Alwayss."
"Alright here's what you're going to do now while I get reinforcements to come arrest Aura, but you're going to have to try your best to keep her in her cool. Don't raise her guard up, just keep it friendly until we get there okay? I don't want her hurting you."
"I understand Dad, I'll do my best. And besides I can take care of myself, come on!" I say with delight.

As I say that, I see Y/N walking inside the school.
"I may have to keep Y/N on his toes too, who knows what she'll do to him...I have to go Dad."
"Okay honey but don't stir him up too much because if-"
"He knows she will know...I'll figure it out Dad, bye. Love you."

I immediately hang up and hurry over to Y/N as I call out to him.
"Oh, Kara hey! Are you okay? I haven't seen you yesterday at school."
"The news about Rae kinda...messed me up. But I did come here later on when everyone was gone."
"Huh? What were you doing up here?"
"Y/N, I know this is a reach for you but...I think Arla is the one that killed Rae."
