Fired

I was getting ready for work in my small house, when all of the sudden my boss, Mr. Hacker called me.  "Are you coming to work today, because you're 20 minutes late?" Vinnie said.  "Oh yes Mr. Hacker I'm so sorry, I must've  slept in, If its okay I could work 20 minutes later to make up for it?" "That wont be necessary Julia, but thank you for offering." He hung up, but all I could think of is how he's letting me keep this job. I got a donut for the car ride and headed to work.

     When I arrived, my best friend Nia was already there waiting for me at my desk. "Girl where were you?" "Oh I just slept in, why are you at my desk?" "Julia you always sleep in, anyway your boss dropped this off and he told me to give this to you.  A letter? That's weird I don't know why he wouldn't just call me. "Okay, thanks Nia see you around." I blew her a kiss on her way off to her desk.  The letter read "Come to my office I have to talk to you about something make sure you close the door on your way in." I walked to his office and closed the door like he asked. Before I could speak, he said "Julia I have some news to tell you." "Yes Mr. Hacker?" I said confused. "Well I don't really know how to say this, but I have to fire you.
