"Wake up!"

"Imogen!"

"Get up!"

Those were the first things Imogen heard before she suddenly felt a pillow hit her in the face.

Opening her eyes, she realized that the cause of the hit was none other than her boyfriend, Rindou Haitani.

"What is wrong with you," she asked him while closing her eyes and released her head back.

"It's literally noon, Imogen. Time to get up," Rindou said while grabbing her hand and dragging her up.

Groaning, Imogen grabbed the pillow with her free hand and whacked Rindou in the back of his head. She then proceeded to walk past him into her bathroom.

After brushing her teeth and changing clothes, Imogen came back out to find Rindou laying backwards on her bed, his hanging upside down.

"Don't you have people to beat up?" she asked him.

Rindou let out a soft chuckle at her words. He may have laughed but he wasn't going to deny that he did, in fact, beat up people.

"Not today," he then said.

"Right. So why did you wake me up so early? I was having a great dream you know," she told him.

"A great dream? What exactly were you dreaming about?" He asked her with a suspicious look in his eyes.

"No. You woke me up so you don't get to know" she replied.

Rindou rolled his eyes playfully before asking her "So what do you want to do today?"

"Makeup store," she told him knowing that he hated going there.

As soon as he heard her reply, he groaned and stood up. "Can't we do something else?"

"No. Now let's go," Imogen said as she put on her shoes.

Soon they both found themselves at the makeup store, Imogen holding a basket and making her way through the aisles while Rindou followed her like a lost puppy.

"Which looks more like my shade?" She asked him, holding two different foundation bottles.

To Rindou, they both looked the same. He looked back and forth between the two bottles before suddenly saying "They look the same."

"No, they don't."

"Yes, they do."

"No. They don't." Imogen responded as she put the one in her left hand back where it belonged and the one in her right hand in the basket.

As they were walking through, Imogen then saw a sale on lip glosses.

She grabbed Rindou's hand, snapping him out of his thoughts, and dragged him to where the lip glosses were located.

"Raise your sleeve," she told him.

Rindou did as she said, knowing that with her, he couldn't say no.

After approximately 8 minutes and 6 seconds, Rindou felt relieved when Imogen picked three out of the twelve shades she had swatched on his wrist.

As they were making their way to the checkout counter, Rindou couldn't help but feel like a winner because this time, they had been in the store for under 30 minutes.

He approached the checkout counter, the lady behind it smiling at him. He then turned to look at Imogen only to notice she was gone.

With a bit of panic, he looked around and turned back around again to face the lady behind the counter. Without saying anything he then awkwardly walked away, in search of his girlfriend.

After two minutes he found her, chatting with a male employee.

Rindou couldn't help but feel annoyed, seeing as whoever that male was was trying to get her to laugh.

Rindou watched their interaction for a few seconds noticing how all Imogen was trying to do was reach behind the male to grab some sort of eye contraption Rindou had seen her use on her eyelashes.

Having had enough, Rindou walked up to them and hugged Imogen from behind leaning down slightly to put his chin on her shoulder while glaring at the male employee.

Noticing him, the employee laughed awkwardly and walked away, finally allowing Imogen to grab what she needed.

During that time, Rindou couldn't help but notice that Imogen had grown. She was now only about three inches shorter than him.

"Okay, let's go," Imogen told him, smiling at him.

Then they made their way back to the checkout counter, the same lady from earlier smiling at them.

Rindou wondered how a person could smile for so long, he preferred to just keep a stoic face around people.

After paying for her stuff, Rindou held her hand as they made their way out.

"You know... you should let me do your makeup again." Imogen told him as he slightly winced, recalling the time she made him look like he belonged in some doll movie. (Queen Calissa who?)

"I'm sure Ran would enjoy that more," he told her.

"Hmm... you're right. I'll have to give him a makeover soon." She responded.

Rindou nodded as they made their way inside a bakery, taking in the smell of all the sweets.

While in line, he couldn't help but wrap Imogen in a hug while kissing the top of her head.

To him, it felt like yesterday when his brother, Ran, came home from the park and told him about some girl who was building her army of birds. Rindou, after hearing this, knew it was the same girl he had met two nights before.

After getting their orders, the two seventeen-year-olds sat down in a booth.

"So what has been going on in your world?" Imogen asked him, referring to the delinquent side of his life.

Rindou never really liked to talk about gangs and delinquents near her, he just didn't want to get her involved with that sort of thing. But she was so stubborn that he always ended up spilling.

"Nothing. A fight between Toman and Valhalla going on tomorrow. Ran and I are gonna go watch."

As soon as those words left his mouth, Imogen looked up at him with a look in her eyes and Rindou knew exactly what she was about to ask.

"No." He said before she could open her mouth.

"You don't even know what I was going to say" she replied.

"You were going to ask if you could come with me. The answer is no."

"That is so not fair," she declared.

Rindou raised an eyebrow.

"I'm going with," Imogen stated while crossing her arms.

Rindou and Imogen had a staring contest for what seemed like five minutes, glaring at each other before Rindou closed his eyes and sighed.

"Fine" He caved in.

"But you'll have to stay between Ran and me at all times, you understand?" He continued.

Imogen nodded wondering who Toeman and Vanilla were. Well, that didn't matter anyway.

"I'm serious Imogen, you've never been to a fight before. I don't know how you're going to handle it."

"I'll be fine. What's the worst that could happen?"

Rindou only rolled his eyes, knowing exactly what could happen, and reached over to wipe the crumbs off his girlfriend's lips.
