The halls of the temple echoed with heavy, metal like footsteps.
A consistent Drag-Thump type movement.
The suit was stumbling its way through the halls.
Lucy and Erza stood outside the temple, having stopped at the steps.
They could hear it approaching... but there was something else.
They could hear it....breathing.
Whoever... or whatever was within the suit was alive... somehow.
It was weak, hoarse breaths, as if the individual was choking on their own blood.
"Be ready," Erza said with a shaking sigh, earning a nod from Lucy as she searched through her keys.
The suit staggered through the large entrance of the temple.
Erza readied her sword, a cold expression crossing her face.
However, the moment sunlight shone upon the suit's eyeslits.
It staggered.
The metal seemed to absorb the sunlight.
Erza lowered her sword ever so slightly as the two of them watched a butterfly flutter toward the suit.
It was glowing a soft yellow color, its black and yellow highlighted design making it pop amongst the foliage.
The butterfly landed on the suit's hand, causing it to gently rotate it's wrist, stifly tilting its head.
The red glowing dot within the suit's eyeslit seemed to soften slightly at the sight of the insect, leading Erza to lower her blade further.
The light reflecting off the blade hit the suit's eyeslit. Causing the individual to flinch slightly, the butterfly quickly flittering away.
The suit's glowing dot of an eye sharpened again as it looked to Erza, its hands clenching into fists.
"Erza! What are you-" Lucy was cut off by Erza holding a hand out to her.
Erza slowly approached the suit, lowering her sword fully.
She hesitantly approached the suit, looking up to the collosal walking prison.
The suit steadied itself as It watched Erza lower her sword. Unclenching its fists ever so slightly.
"She said....we are supposed to...save him" Erza said in uncertainty, looking to Lucy.
As Lucy looked to Erza in hesitance, her eye began to widen.
Behind her, a large, worn golden metal figure began to rise.
Rubble fell from it, causing Erza to look behind her, raising her sword.
However Erza felt a large hand grip her shoulder and toss her to the side, a loud *BANG* ringing out as a loud drilling noise was heard.
The suit had tossed Erza aside. Clashing against the golden golem.
It had a large drill like hand, pressed against the suit's neck. It wasnt puncturing it, but it was smoking.
The Suit raised its arm with a few loud mechanical clicks and pops before swiftly crashing it down upon the golem.
The golem crumpled under the suit's strike. However as Lucy helped Erza up.
The suit stiffened.
It crackled with purple energy as large spikes began to form at its joints.
Then with one, swift stabbing motion.
They vanished into the armor.
The suit locked at the joints as a string of loud cracks, pops and wet ripping noises rang out.
Blood spurt from between its joints as the suit collapsed onto its knees.
A low, muffled gurgling scream of pain escaped the suit as blood poured from its neck plating.
The glowing red dot flickered as the suit reached out toward Erza and Lucy, struggling against the seizing of its joints.
Erza and Lucy watched in a mixtute of shock and horror, the blonde freezing as droplets of Blood splattered across her face.
Erza's eyes narrowed, a panicked expression crossing het face as she began searching through Lucy's bag.
