I didn't hear anything else from Holly last night, having gone to be at 5 AM, only getting 3 hours of shut eye before I was due up and out the door to be back on the road for Bahrain.

I knew I couldn't discuss my findings with Rebecca as she would either take the story as her own or go and blabber mouth it to everyone she knew before I could even fact check my assumptions.

I spend the following week digging, staying up late almost every night trying to search for an answer, but finding nothing to prove myself wrong.

"Maybe you should talk to his parents?" Holly asked me on facetime as I was sat in my hotel room in the early hours.

"They would just deny it," I sigh, walking over to the window to look down at the city of Bahrain, the sun just starting to peak over the building tops.

"Why not give it a go? Worst they do is turn around and deny it like you said," she shrugs as I plop back down on the bed.

She was sat at her hospital desk marking reports, a job that would probably cost me a lot less stress than this one, suddenly wishing I had gone to medical school now.

The thought of confronting someone about an accusation like this terrified me, they had done a good job at keeping this hidden for so many years, who's to say they don't turn around and threaten to sue me?

"Just give it a go." Holly speaks, snapping me from a train of thoughts my anxiety was dragging me into.

"Alright," I reply, fiddling with my hands as I try to think of how I would possibly word this to them.

I knew they were going to be at the track this weekend for the first proper race back, but how I confronted them without Lando realising would be another thing.

I didn't know if he even knew, now thinking about it, what if he was clueless? And I was the one who was going to bring this to light after all these years?

He had been nothing but kind to me and here I was digging into his past to potentially cause havoc for him.

I stand from the bed, deciding to have a long shower to try and calm my nerves as I practiced the questions I was to ask his parents when I got the chance.

I change into a long white bodycon dress, putting a pair of red heels on and a black leather jacket to go with as I knew it would be cooler this evening.

"Dressing up for someone?" Rebecca asks as I'm getting into her car, rubbing my feet as the heels were new and starting to give me blisters already.

"No?" I stammer out, was I too overdressed? Maybe I should've worn the jeans and t-shirt my mum had told me to wear.

"Stop over thinking it, you look good," she says, silencing my voices as she turns the car on.

"Okay so, you've got an interview with Carlos and Charles first thing, make sure to ask Charles about Madeline. After that you have a video to film with Lando and Daniel." Rebecca runs over my schedule for this evening.

Lando.

I had to interview him before speaking to his parents. What if he found out through me? Or what if he already knew and was going to be mad at me for finding out.

We arrive at the circuit not long after the sun has gone down, night time races were better in my opinion as it was easier to sneak out in the dark without people seeing you.

"Charles and Carlos, how are you both feeling this season?" I ask the pair as we sit on the stool chairs provided, but they were an awkward height as I found myself struggling to sit on them with my heels not touching the ground.
