Amity looked at the way-too skinny, blonde teen in front of her. He had JUST escaped her for when felt like the millionth time. She readied a spell but didn't cast it just yet. King perched by her side, also ready to launch an attack. Hunter didn't look up from digging a small hole. "Don't worry. I won't pick a fight. There's no Titan Blood," he said, resigned.
Amity looked at King, confusion shining on her features. "Then why are you digging?" She asked.
"Oh it's simple really! Belos needs Titan blood to make a new portal key. Can't get to the Human Realm without it!" Hunter said. He was clearly in a not very stable mental state and terrified. Amity thought to herself, There's blood in the key? She clutched the key to her chest, lost in thought. The tall boy who was crouched in the dirt snapped her out of her trance. "Since I failed my last mission, I thought, "Hey, a chance to make up for it!" But I can't go back empty-handed!" he laughed hysterically, "Not again," he paused having a mood-swing, "Long story short, this is my grave.Want me to make you one too?" he asked. Despite his pessimistic view the entire speech, those last sentences were eerily happy.
King chimed in, "This is really bumming me out." Amity couldn't help but agree.
The depressed adolescent looked back, slightly annoyed, "That's just life, rat. Everyone has a use, and if you don't..." he blew a raspberry, "..buh-bye! Your friend gets it."King looked at Amity in confusion. "What's he talking about?"
Amity took out a Tamagachi that was gifted to her. "Luz has been sending me these strange human codes. I don't understand all of them but this one seems pretty clear," she remembered the other teen's comment from earlier, having taken it to heart. "Come back with results or we're done." King knew Luz wouldn't say that. "Nyeh!" He flipped the device ninety degrees. Amity read the new code that spelled itself out "U-R-RAD." She clocked the next one. "FOOLS-BLOOD-BAD. U-OKAY? COME-HOME?" She chuckled to herself. "Of course. This is Luz we're talking about." She turned to king."We have to get Eda she might be in trouble. What if she finds Fools-Blood?" The group seems to have forgotten Hunter's comment from earlier that warned them about Fools-Blood. As Amity left with King, she vaguely heard Hunter say something about "finding another witch" or whatever to a small Cardinal. He was still laying in the dirt but he was surely joking about the hole being his grave... right? Whatever, he'll move eventually.
