We all just sat there in an awkward silence and looked at the fondue. Saffron and Damien just stared at each other. The tension in the room was cuttable. I couldn't take it anymore so I reach forwards and stabbed a peice of bread with my fondue fork. Just as I was about to stick it in the soft googy cheese Damien touched my hand. I looked at him with a confused expression and retracted my hand. "Let her eat for christ sake." Saffron added rather annoyed. Saffron them turned her attention to me, "So you gonna explain what's going on." I opened my mouth but Damien grabbed my wrist as if to say stop. I looked at him and made a very pointed look as if to say seriously. "She'll find out eventually so might as well just tell her now." I said eventhough I was gonna tell her even if he told me not to. He nodded slightly.
I took a deep breath "Tylerlostabettoanevilguyandtheonlywaytosavemewasformetomarrydamiensoheisnowmyfianceealsodoyouwanttobemymaidofhonouratourweddingitstommorow" I looked at Saffron and she just looked back in pure smoke and confusion. Damien let out a small laugh beside me. I looked at him and he smiled "You forgot to breath." I could feel my face heating. "I'm gonna kill Tyler." Saffron said finally understanding what I blurted at her. I smiled that's my Saff. She looked at damien and just said "Thank you. You better keep my girl safe." I picked up my fork again and dipped my bread into the cheese and shoved it in my mouth. Saffron then looked at me and laughed. "What?"I said with a full mouthful. This only made her laugh more.
Damien cleared his throat bringing our attention to him. "I hate to break this up ladies but we really need to go. Andy pack some stuff you too Saffron you'll be coming with us, but we need to hurry we dont know when Xavier men will get here." That snapped me and Saffron out of our cheese filled haze and we instantly started getting to work throwing random clothes into bags and looking for anything that is of worth to us. Once finished I looked round at my now messy room I looked o er to my bed apon which lay the tattered teddy bear that my dad gave me, I quickly grabbed it and left.
In the living room Damien was patiently waiting with Saffron. "I'm ready" I said clutching my beloved teddy closer to my chest (it is the last thing left that I could remember my dad by). "Let's go then" Damien said and we made our way out of the house. Saffron lazily put her arm over my shoulder. "It will be ok Doodle." She said planting a kiss on the top of my head. I smiled at the her use of my nickname.
