It was a normal day for Natalie Paquette, she had to play in the apex games the next day so today she was taking a break from training. Natalie fell asleep the night before studying like she always does, she decides she wants only to rest today. Natalie opens her phone and sees a message form her best friend wraith.

"Hey nat! Sorry to ask this but are you able to help me out on something?" Natalie sighs, she wants to help wraith but is very tired and needs rest for the next day. Natlaie thinks about her schedule and decides to help Renee, as she has time later to relax, and besides- Rene is her best friend!

Natalie leaves for Renee's house. She gets to the house at 11:52 am. She knocks on the door and Renee opens.

"Hi Natalie!" Renee isn't much of a people person yet when natalie is in Renee's presence- she's happy

"What did you need help on?" Natalie asks, sounding still tired due to the 3 hours of sleep she got the night before.

"Well- about that- I lied... I don't need help... Nat- I wanted you here to talk to you! There's something I need to tell you!" Natalie looks confused and a bit irritated that Renee made her come over just to be lied to.

Natalie sighs with dissapointment "Renee- if you didn't truly need me then why didn't you tell me? Couldn't you have said what you needed to over message?" Natalie begins to pick up her stuff when Renee grabs nats wrist.

"Nat- its-" Renee audibly gulps after saying this. "It's about the apex games. Somethings happening- please- listen to me?" Natalie sighs but nods.

"What is it?" Natalie looks at wraith wondering what could be this important.

"Nat- they-" the doorbell rings.

"I'll get that!" Natalie gets up, but wraith has a- a feeling- the voices- they tell her- whatever is on the other side of that door- isn't safe.

"Wait! Nat!!" It's too late. Nat opens the door, a man is standing there, Natalie doesn't know him but- Renee does. She breaks down. Renee knows this man as the one who experimented on her in her cruel past. Renee breaks down onto the ground sobbing. Nat quickly slams the door. Renee has curled into a ball and is sobbing. All she can hear is the voices- they're all so loud and- consuming. Natalie hugs Renee trying to comfort her. "Hey- it's okay- I'm here, the noise will stop now." It seems to work, the voices clam as wattson hugs wraith.

"N-natalie-? Can you-" she takes a deep breathe "can I tell you a bit of my past?"

"Of course Renee! You're my best friend, I'm here to listen." Natalie sits and waits for Renee to speak.

"In my past- I was:experimented on... I was- i- I don't remember my life before being in the lab and being experimented on but I do remember what they'd do to me. They said something about- trying to- get something out of me- I forget what exactly but- I was scared." Renee goes silent for a while. She seems to ponder wether or not to keep going. Natalie grabs Renees hands and looks her in the eyes

"Don't worry wraith, I'm here. Do you want to take a break?"

Renee looks up at Natalie, while she is crying. Renee can't hold back the tears or anything "yes... I would... Thank you.." she says in between sobs.

(I don't know how this went I completely winged it and yeah but I'm probably going to keep writing and hoping for the best)
