Chapter 1:
*Flashback*
Mercy was shifting into Simlodon the agile saber tooth cat. Her paws were treading against the ground stalking her prey, a deer. When she was about to pounce she could her a faint voice in the background. she decided to listen in closer seeing as she wasn't going to risk getting caught and she had only just got here. Listening in closer she noticed that there wasn't just one voice but more than one voice.
Curiosity got the best of her so she decided to follow the sound. As she kept walking it was getting easier to here what they were saying.
What if they hear me? she couldn’t help but think about the fact that getting caught isn't on her agenda.
She hid beside a tree in the distance, it was close enough so she could hear and see everything that was going on without the risk of getting picked out.
From what she could see there was a circle of fire and people were surrounding that circle. At one point she could see and hear yelling. From her point of view this was something she hasn't seen. She only ever stayed in the forest traveling around and hunting, that was her life.
When things got boring for her she could see people dying but this type of killing didn't impress her, I've seen worse, she thought.
So she treaded her paws back as she swiftly turned around and walked away from the scene in front of her.
Klaus was about to drain Elena dry he heard someone coming from the back ground but the pattern of the foot prints on the ground didn't make it out to be human. He ignored what that was but he couldn’t help but wonder, it didn't sound like a typical animal.
*Flashback Over*

Back in the forest, after that did occur Mercy couldn’t help but be intrigued by this little town so she decided to get some back ground information. After looking into this town, she was happy to know that her suspicions of this town were correct. There was a original family and in that family there was a hybrid, half-vampire half-werewolf. Then there were the Salvatore brothers, Stefan and Damon with their little doppelgänger Elena; the girl Klaus, the hybrid tried to kill.
I say tried to kill because it appears she is very much alive, she thought.
The show was about to begin. Mercy was watching the scene unfold from the comfort of the shadows, eying every little detail with precision. Klaus had compelled Stefan to kill two people and she could help but snicker when Stefan tried to resist the urge to be compelled. She knew that his will power would fade as soon as Klaus compelled him.
Stefan then ran up to the two teens and drained them dry. Mercy waited for the perfect opportunity to make her big appearance when everyone gets there.
Klaus couldn't help but feel someone in the shadows again but this time it felt human?. He was tired of Stefan's constant resting and after he finally told Stefan to turn of his feelings off it was wonderful. His soon to be or not to be hybrid friend Tyler was beginning to stir awake along with the blond vampire Caroline, and Rebecca was with them at the side of the gym. He was tired of his sister's constant talking.
"Get up already! I want to see if this hybrid thing will work-" just as she said that Caroline was up already and trying to get Tyler up "-Oh! come on Nik when will that witch come I'm getting bored"
"Rebecca, shut up" Klaus was also wondering where Bonnie was, he was about to get her when on cue the little witch Bonnie had shown up with the human matt.
