Grey's POV
I can't believe this. That whole conversation was so stupid in the first place and this has cost us our whole relationship with grace
My family is so fucking stupid. I go back into the living room where everyone else is and try to signal Alex.
Our eyes finally connect and I make a little signal and he gets it so we go outside. "What's going on"
"Our stupid family is what's going on" I declare "Grace heard all of us talking about her and James and now she doesn't want to come back home"
"What" He yells "Shush we can't alarm the others" I say "What the fuck do you mean that we can't alarm the others of course we do" "We are her family and because of this grace thinks that she can't trust us"
Before I could do anything Alex has already bursted into the living room.
Shit
I quickly run after him and hes already at it. "You guys are so fucking stupid grace heard our conversation and doesnt want to come home now the fact that we were talking about it behind her back makes us a bad family the fact that we only just got grace back and now we have lost her again. The fact that we were so worried about losing grace to james we lost grace to our own foolish acts." He screams at everyone
Everyone just sits in silence. "What the fuck are we still doing here then, we have to get grace back" He shouts. At that everyone is up on their feets and we immediately head towards the garage.
Alexander's POV
I cant imagine how grace could be feeling right now. Not being able to trust her family. God. I see my dad and nonno coming towards me. These two. They were the ones that started this whole mess.
"Son"he starts "I'm sor-". I interrupted before he can say more. "Why are you apolgising to me I'm not the one you hurt" I roll my eyes at him. "Okay guys we need to split up so that we can cover a lot of ground" I declare. Everyone nods and we split up into different cars
I don't know how but i ended up in the same car as dad and nonno. Fucking punk ass bitches. We all get in the car and nonno gets in the drivers seat. I see what car grace took and call up my buddy at the police station. I ask if he can look at the security cameras around the city to look for her.
He says yes and i give him the license plate. 2 mins later he sends me the surveillance from grace leaving the house. I speed through it but then graces car disappears.
What the fuck
I show nonno the last place where grace was and we drive there. It was really awkward as we all just sat in silence.
We finally get there and tell dad and nonno to bring up a picture of grace to ask people if they have seen her. This is a pretty good plan
30 mins later
Ignore what I said earlier this is a terrible plan. We have been here for the last 30 mins and we have gotten nothing. Everyone we ask same thing. No. Ughh
We just decide to go back home. During the drive dad decided to speak. "Son you can't be icing me out like this"
"Yes I can especially after all of the things that you and nonno decided to say that cost us grace"
"What's wrong with you"
"Alexander do not speak to me like that" he states. I just roll my eyes. We sit in silence the rest of the ride.
Once we get home we wait for everyone to else but everyone had the same luck as us. "What if we call grace and track her location" Chases says
Everyone sits in silence. That is an amazing idea how come to we didn't think about this before we went to look for her.
"That's a great idea someone get a laptop and let Luca work his magic" I say
"We have to get someone who didn't raise their hand to call her" Grey states "Either mom or Alex"
"I'll do it" mom volunteers. Leonardo comes down with a laptop and gives it to Luca. He does all of the things he needs to do to prepare. "You have to keep on the phone for at least 30
seconds so we can pin point the exact location" Luca tells mom. She nods in response
Start of Call
G - Grace M - Mom
M - Hi sweetie
G - hey mom
M - Grey told me that u saw and I just want to say that I'm sorry
G - I want to say it's okay but it isn't u don't have to apologise u didn't do anything wrong
M - You're right it isn't okay they had no right to question your loyalty
M - He took care of you while we couldn't and if you want to stay with him then that's your choice
G - I obviously love James as he made me into the person I am today. He decided to take care of me and he didn't even know me
G - But even when I was with James I still always wondered if my family was out there
G - and when I found out that I did have a family I may have not shown it but I was really happy
G - the little girl in me crying herself to sleep everyday wishing that she had people to love her was over the moon
M - Please come back home we can all just talk about it
G - only until all of them apologise especially dad and nonno they were the ones that started it off and I still might not come
End of Call
"Got it" Luca says
"Whose going to go get grace" I ask "Me and dad are going" Dad says "You sure she wants to see you" Grey says
"It doesn't matter I hurt my daughter and i need to make it up to her" he declares. Everyone just nods.
Me mom dad and nonno all get into the car and leave. Luca has just sent me the address so I show dad. It takes us about 40 mins to get there
Apparently we are there. So grace is in here then. We drive up to the gates of the house and someone starts speaking through a buzzer.
"Please state your name or names and reason for visit"
"Antonio Rossi" "Serena Rossi" "Theodore Rossi" "Alexander Rossi" "We're here to see grace"
"Please hold on" the person says. We're now all sharing our confused looks.
"So sorry for that please drive in". We drive into the estate and the gates close behind us. We walk up to the front door to be greeted by a man who looks around the same age as Taylor. He directs us to what seems like the living room.
A few minutes passed and grace comes out with a emotionless look on her face. I havent seen that look in a long time. "Grace" Mom says. She goes up to her and hugs her. She releases from the hug. "Are you okay" Mom asks "I've been better" She replies
"Grace I'm so sorry we're so sorry we shouldve never started the conversation if you want to go live with james then thats your choice we have no right to be questioning your loyalty we don't know James like you do" dad says
"I forgive you but you guys have to realise that James took care of me having no reason he didn't know me he decided to take care of a random 10 year old" Grace says
"We understand" nonno says "okay good let me get the twins and say goodbye to the rest" grace states
