"Push!"
A doctor says to a greenette lady delivering a baby she has born for months.
"Hang in there! You're doing great!"
The sound of painful screams is silenced by a child's ear-piercing shrieks.
"Congrats! You've successfully given birth to a beautiful boy! What would you like to name him?"
Right after cooling down and softly acknowledging the doctors, she answers:
"Izuku"
Izuku had a perfect life. Everyone loved him because of his delightful nature and kindness towards others. With both his parents and friends in the picture, what else could he ask for?
That was the routine, before something dreadful occurred.
It was practically nighttime, and the Midoriya family were experiencing a jolly dinner, when all of a sudden, Izuku's mother, Inko, recalled something.
Inko: "Izuku, dear, can you please go to your room for a minute? Your father and I have to discuss a concern."
Izuku: "Ok Mommy!"
Inko smiled sweetly at her son's precious reaction.
Hisashi: "So, what is it?" Izuku's Father, Hisahi, questioned her in a carefree tone.
Inko: "Hisashi, you know how Izuku hasn't been showing any symptom nor has manifested his quirk yet?" Inko said as distressed and troubled as ever.
Hisashi: "Perhaps he's a late bloomer. Countless people develop their quirks at the age of six."
Inko: "That's the complication. We visited a quirk doctor without notifying you, so we could surprise you when we arrive back home. But..." She paused before she pursued her Sentence. "After he took the test, he asked Izuku to leave his office and play with his All might toy in the waiting room. As he was leaving, an image appeared on the screen and he started explaining he won't be able to possess a quirk simply because of his extra joints. He's.... quirkless." Inko stated, on the brink of tears.
Hisashi: "W-what... You must be fooling around... right? Inko.... INKO FUCKING TELL ME YOU'RE JOKING." Hisashi roared with all his force.
Inko: "I'M NOT! I'm not..." Inko announced between her snivels.
Hisashi stumbled his way back to the couch and observed the carpet laying on the ground which seemed interesting at the perturbed moment.
Inko: "W-what are we going to do now...?" She barely pronounced the words with a breaking voice.
Hisashi: "I don't know..." Hisashi said gradually gaining his composure.
Meanwhile with Izuku
Izuku was pretending to be All might, saving his toy civilians from danger, when he heard his dad's deafening roars from down stairs.
He dropped his Toys and was about to go back down and watch the happenings in silence, but let it slip, assuming it was a casual argument.
With Inko and Hisashi
Inko: "What are we going to tell the cultists...?" Inko said stealthily, careful to not anger her husband once more.
Hisashi sat there in stillness processing what had just ensued. Then, an idea snapped into his mind.
Hisashi: "We can't run nor hide, but we can fill them with false facts." He said with pure determination and a tiny hint of reticence.
Inko: "B-but..."
Hisashi: "We don't have a choice." Hisashi disturbed.
Inko: "A-are you aware of the consequences or do I need to remind you?"
Hisashi: "*sigh* I'm aware. But our reputation is more important than a stupid lie. Even if it doesn't last long."
Inko was finally induced after a time-consuming conversation.
Inko: "Ok then... what are we going to tell them? I'm all ears." Inko said wiping away her tears.
Hisashi: "That... That Izuku's quirk cannot be perceived by alive species."
Inko: "Anything alse?"
Hisashi: "And just to make it more believable, he can communicate with Chikara."
(A/N: "Chikara" means power. It's the deity their cult worships. I made it up.)
Inko: "Good idea I suppose..."
Hisashi: "There's no way back now."
Hisashi cupped his hands and caressed his wife's graceful face.
Hisashi: "It's for our own good. Do you have faith in me?"
Inko: "I trust you..."
Hisashi smiled and kissed her on the cheek.
Izuku: "Mommy, Daddy... Is everything ok?"
They mutually turned around to face Their son.
Inko: "Yes honey. Everything's fine. Oh, look at the clock! It's past your bedtime! Let's get you tucked in, shall we?"
Izuku: "Aww but I don't want to take a nap." He nagged.
Inko: "True heroes always sleep early!" She involuntary forced those words out of her mouth. She knew his dreams were inaccessible.
Izuku: "Then bedroom, no need to fear because... I AM HERE!"
Inko let out a small chuckle, and before leading Izuku to bed, she took one last indeterminate look at Hisashi, and left with his signal.
Before Izuku dozed off, Inko wrote something on his arm with a marker.
"Pawa banzai" which means "long live the power"
(A/N: A HUGE thanks to all of you who have kept reading this predictable and shitty plotted story. I don't know how to show my gratitude. And I also know doma's parents started a cult because of his exclusive eyes, but still. Hope you enjoyed!)
