"Expect the unexpected." This is what a whiteboard has written on, on the wall of a bedroom. The bedroom belongs to a very unstable teenager, Saturn Summers. A 16 year old, with short, wavy, red hair, and identifies as non-binary.
It was September. A new school year to endure. However, it won't just be a new school year to tolerate, it will be a new school for Saturn.

The alarm goes off.

6:55a.m.

Groans come from under the striped covers of Saturns small bed, placed on the edge of the room.

The alarm then gets turned off, and Saturn gathers the motivation to get out of bed.
They open the wardrobe, and pick out the first thing they find, which in this case is a pair of dark blue jeans, and a t shirt which has two shades of grey, in a striped pattern. They get dressed, put their black headphones on their neck, put their shoes on, which are checkered slip on vans, and grab their backpack, which is a tartan pattern.

"Sophie! You're going to miss your bus!"
Saturn's mum yells.
Saturn's mum knows what name they prefer, but decides because she's older she knows what's best.
Saturn runs down the stairs, grabs a granola bar from the freshly polished kitchen counter, and leaves the house.
They rush out of the house, and whilst eating the granola bar, get on the bus.
They then put on their headphones, and listen to "Snap Out Of It" by Arctic Monkeys, to try and lift their spirits.
A few minutes go by.

A person sits next to Saturn.

The person is a guy with a dark brown buzzcut, designer brand clothes and looks like a snob. There are plenty of other seats free so Saturn wonders why he came to sit by them.

The guy pokes Saturn to get their attention.

"Hello?"
Saturn says, confused.

"I swear I recognise you."
The Person says.

Saturn would gaze at the person, and then recognise them.

They would go on their phone, pull up a snapchat friend of theirs, Tom, and show the person.

"Yep, that's me."
The Person would say, happily

Saturn would be shocked. This is the person who used to message them high at 3am. This is the person who they called fit whenever he would take a picture and send it to them, and vice versa. This is who Saturn never thought they'd meet, and just leave it as a few summer texts.

"Nice to... meet you?"
Saturn would say, trying to get a laugh out of him.

"Haha- So you're coming to my school??"
Tom would say, excited.

"Yep, I'm probably going to skip tomorrow though."
Saturn would reply. Saturn hates school and does everything they can to not go.

"Oh please come in, it's fun to see one of my snapchat mutals go to the same school as me!"
Tom would try to persuade saturn.

"Eh, we will see, depends how many times i get hate crimed, eh Tom?"
Saturn would say back.

The bus would stop at the school.
Saturn would mask all their anxieties, and walk into this new school.

The school was very fancy, buildings that looked like they were from the Victorian era, tennis courts and basketball pitches everywhere, benches outside each building, and multiple groups of people chatting about their weekends.

Tom would instantly go to his friendship group, which was an abundance of guys, who were obnoxiously popular.

Saturn would sigh and go sit at a bench on their own, until lesson 1 started.
