Hearing that my dad is alive was already overwhelming. But hearing that he's some kind of wolf ruler, that's absurd.
Jonathan told almost everything I need to know about my dad. He was known as The Dark Beast. He's an Alpha that ruled a strong pack in this nearby woods. Some people said that he planned his lost, some said he got bitten while hunting. His pack had been around killing Vampires on full moon.
I ran after they told that. I ran deep inside the woods.
I climbed a tree and sat on the highest branch. It was peaceful here. It's almost sunset.
A bird perch on a branch beside me. It has a vibrant blue color. "Hey, there. Aren't you a pretty one," I hold my hand so it could stay on. But before the bird could do that, Xavier sat in front of me. Surprisingly with his inhuman speed. The bird flew away.
"Oh, come on! Really?" I glare at him. "Sorry?" He held his hands up. "What are you doing here?" I sigh. "To check on you," he stated simply. "I can take care of myself, Xav," his warm brown eyes look worried.
We sat there enjoying the sunset. The light shine on his hair, giving it a light shaded of red.
"Why don't you guys just kill me?" I muttered. "We don't kill, Blaire," he whispered. I didn't thought that he would hear it, but then again he's a Vampire.
"You could just use me as a bait for my dad," I said again. "Blaire, we don't even know if that would work. But we won't try that. It's too risky," he hold my hand. "Why?" I look up into his eyes. "Believe me, we're not sentimental. But Blaire, you're a part of our family now. We don't sacrifice family member!" He cupped my face, stroking my hair lightly.
"But what if I want to find him?" I muttered. "Then we'll find him together. It could be fatal for me, but I'll help you," he smile at me reassuringly. "I could probably make some kind of bargain so the Werewolf don't kill your kinds. It's gonna be a salvation for both stronghold, " I gave him a smile.
"Yeah, it's gonna be a Fatal Salvation, " as he kissed my forehead.

After dinner, most of the Valiants went on a hunt. But Xavier stayed to look after me.
"You know I'll be fine, right? " I poke his side as he laid beside me. We were laying on his bed, looking at the ceiling. "I know. I just wanted to make sure you're okay," he smiled at me. "Stop the smiling it's getting creepy. Don't you have a school or something? " I asked. "We have but school starts at 2am till 6am. It's only 11pm, we usually hunt first," he shrugged. "You're not hungry?" I asked. "No. Not really," he shrugged again.
"Can I come?" I sat down and looked at him. He chuckled. "Pardon?" He said. "Can I come with you? To your school? " I said again. He sat down too. "You're joking right? " he chuckled again. I gave him a stern look. "Wow, you're serious, " he had his worried face again. "Your friends won't do anything harmful right?" I asked. He shook his head. "Then I'm coming!" I clap my hands.
"You can't just barge in, love," he chuckled. "Nah, I'll just stay I the library," I said. "Don't you get sleepy?" He curiously asked. "I never sleep unless I really need one," I stated.

Xavier's parents said it was okay for me to meet the town folks, just don't bleed myself out. I can do that.
"So, what do you guys study?" I asked Xavier. "Defense againts the Werewolfs, Science, Math, History, and magic," he told. "Magic?" I asked again. "Yeah, we have a couple of Druids here. They teach us about healing potions and a few elemental powers," he told. "Nice...".
On our way, we met some of Xavier's friends. He was quite popular for a sweet guy.
We stopped in front of a huge wooden door. There are complicated carving on it. "Here's the door. You sure you'll be alright? " he asked. He seemed worry. "I'll be fine," I punch his side lightly. "I'll pick you up after school. If you're hungry just tell the Librarian I sent you," he told before leaving.
I opened the door. An air smelled like old books just came right at me. The library was huge. 2 stories library. "Excuse me, what can I do for you?" An old lady voice asked. I look to where it came from. An old lady was sitting behind a desk. "Um, hello. I'm looking for some books," I said. The old lady smiled at me. I thought Vampires supposed to look young. "What kind of books, dear?" She asked. She had a dull gray eyes and her already white hair tied into a bun. "Werewolf and the Williams," I said. "Oh, interesting. Follow me, dear," she got up and lead the way.
"I don't mean to be rude but, I thought Vampires supposed to stay young?" I stated. "Oh dear. I'm a mundane, not a Vampire," she laughed lightly. My mouth just formed an 'O'.
"Here we are. You look like him you know," she looked at me. "Who?" I asked. She pointed a book. It was called 'Victor Williams'. "I'm his daughter, " I mumbled. "Oh, my. What made you stuck here?" She asked. "Xavier kinda saved me and when I came his family kinda bombarded me with who my father is," I smiled sheepishly.
"That must be hard for you, sweetie. Here, I'll give you some books that are very helpful and if you want something just call me," she smiled warmly at me before leaving.
"Well, books, I guess it's just you and me," I open up the first book. 'History Of The Dark Beast'.
