You're My Always//Logan Reese

The Play

Bella's POV

Logan and I were sitting on his couch, my feet were on his lap and I was reading a book as he played video games. Michael and Chase were currently talking about the play that Chase wrote as a homework assignment that was apparently being used as this years play

"Why would you take drama. You should have taken gym like me and Bells" Logan asked like it was the craziest thing in the world

"Hot girls man, I don't see any hot girls on the football team" Chase explained like it was obvious

"There's hot girls that play sports, I mean have you see Miss Parker over here" Logan said pointing at me, pretending to whisper

I just giggled and tried to fight the blush that was making it's way on my face. This boy has been flirting with me a lot more lately and if he keeps it up, I'm gonna melt.

"What's your play even about Chase" I asked genuinely interested. His face lit up when I asked, making me so happy that I did

"It's about this alien who washes up on earth and falls in love with this lifeguard and they kiss at the end of the play and live happily ever after" He explained his eyes lit up with excitement, he looked like a kid on Christmas morning

"And you're playing the lifeguard" he nodded his head

"And Zoey's auditioning for the alien" I asked amusement in my tone. He nodded his head again, confusion taking over his face

"So you're using this play, as your chance to make a move on Zoey" Chase looked at me shocked, stuttering over his words while the boys laughed

"Wha- no- I mean" he could not get a single sentence out, the smile that was once on his face was now long gone

"That's what I thought" I said standing up, causing Logan to look at me curious

"I gotta go to my dorm, I promised Zoey I'd help her with her lines" I leaned down kissing him on the cheek

"I'll let you know what your girl says lover boy" I told Chase giggling while walking out the door, I was halfway down the hallway before I realized I forgot my book and turned around. I was about to turn the doorknob and walk in when I heard Logan talking

"Dude if Bella was in drama, I would join in a heartbeat if it meant I got to kiss her" I stood there in utter shock, I was definitely not supposed to hear this conversation. And I didn't know what to do now that I had, knowing I wouldn't have been able to make an actual sentence yet, I turned around and forgot about my book

The Next Day

Yesterday was a long and weird day, after I left the boys dorm, auditions started. Zoey asked me to come with for moral support but I had a lot of math homework to do, so I told her I couldn't wait to hear all about it. Somehow that day ended in me figuring out Logan was now playing the lifeguard and that Zoey was gonna drop the play.

So here I was sitting in the auditorium with Zoey and Chase, as Zoey was about to tell the director she wasn't going to do the play. She was literally in the middle of telling him no, when Logan started acting and something inside of her changed, I saw it all over her face. Next thing I know her and Logan are standing on stage, acting like they were in love

I looked over to Chase who's face was covered in brokenness, I'm sure my face looked similar. I moved over to the empty seat next to him that was once occupied by Zoey and nudged our shoulders together.

"I guess we both lost our people huh" I said without realizing that I just admitted to liking Logan

Chase just hung his head low while nodding for a second before his head shot up "wait you like Logan?" He whisper exclaimed
