The man behind the desk had his head low, deep in thought as he wondered about how the new girl was doing, she was probably brought in about an hour or two ago? she looked young..to young for the job, maybe around fifteen? sixteen? ah, But she would have to do the job and she would have to do it well.. that's if she expected to see day light ever again. The poor girl was shackled and beaten up by one of his men for opening her smart mouth, ah..bad move on her part. Now he would have to lengthen her stay to teach her some respect. They never learn.

A knock on the door interrupted his thoughts, annoying him to no end.

" Enter" was all he said.

A frail old women no younger than sixty entered slowly.. " Sir, there seems to be a slight problem.." she trailed off.

He was a working class man, and did not have time for slight problems, did these people not know that he hadn't the time for feeble things such as this.. much less being interrupted- especially when he was deep in thought? surely they must have some brain?

breaking away from his thoughts once again he finally acknowledged the elderly woman in front of him.

His thick, slow Russian accent filled the quiet room..

"slight problem, eh? ...and what might this slight problem be? "

His voice, like steel, frightening the old woman more than she deserved as she earned herself a slight shiver from the cold voice of her Master. she Fidgeted nervously with her apron, cleared her throat slightly then, she spoke the words she had been hoping she would die before ever saying it out loud, "Th-th-the g-girl..she- " pausing to take a deep breath and regain her confidence..praying to the lord that she would not have to face His wrath, spoke again " She managed to escape Sir.."
