Chapter Five: Family Agreement

Becky's POV

We are now sitting at the dining table of Chankimha's.

This mansion was an epitome of elegance.

Chankimha's was indeed one of the wealthiest family here in Thailand.

I was sitting in the middle of mom and Richie. My mom on the right and Richie on the left.

The food was good but I couldn't focus on eating because Freen was sitting in front of me.

My dad and uncle Damian were busy chitchatting together with her mom and mine, while Freen was busy with her food.

She's so focused especially on the veggies. I notice she eats almost all kinds of veggies on her plate except for tomatoes.

I smile secretly, she's so cute while munching her food. She even closes her eyes.

Richie nudges me and whisper something.

"Staring with someone especially when she's eating is not good."

I smirk and stare down at my plate.

"So Becky, your father told me that your company will launch another product again ?" I heard uncle Damian said after a while.

I nodded "Yes, and we're hoping that we can see our product in malls by this month."

"You're so good in terms of business dear." he commented

I just smile at him.

"Do you know dad, Heng is the one who hold that project for her." Freen commented

"Oh, really ? So that was the project Heng was telling me yesterday. Heng is one of the best photographers here in Thailand, you are lucky to have him as your photographer." He turns at me "But I hope Freen is not doing anything to ruin your studio. As you know, Dr. Chankimha here was a little bit clumsy. We truly don't know how she became a doctor because of her clumsiness." he laughs after he said that. "And also, Freen is Heng's-"

"Dad !" Freen shouted but not that loud. She cut what her father was about to say.

"That's true. If Heng was there, I'm sure you're also there to bully him." uncle Damian still laughing but now, my father and Richie also laugh too.

"You're so mean to me dad." Freen pouted.

She's so cute when she pouts.

"Okay enough" her mother said.

They all stop in laughing. Freen smile and whisper thank you to her mom.

"You should stop bullying Heng dear or Nam will get jealous." her mother said "Or you should find a boyfriend so Heng will be free of your clumsiness."

So Heng is not her boyfriend after all. I don't know but I felt happy about the news.

"Mom, I thought you would help me to dad but it turns out you are on his side right now."

They all laugh again.

"How about you Becky, Do you have someone special already ?" Mrs. Chankimha ask.

"She's so focused on her craft that's why she didn't even have a love life." my mother answered.

"Mom." I gave my mom a warning look but she just rolled her eyes.

"So, the successful CEO is still single huh." uncle Damian said.

I saw him glimpse with her daughter. Freen choke and take some water to drink.

I nodded my head. "I don't have anyone right now." I answer and give Mrs. Chankimha a slight smile. "I want to enjoy life first. I don't want to get involved with someone without knowing what I really want."

All of a sudden, we hear Freen laugh.

"Yeah, you are right Ms. Armstrong. You should wait until the right one comes." she said while nodding her head

"But it would be better if you help the right one to find you." Richie said while looking at Freen.

I don't know what he's implying but I think Richie is up to something.

I heard dad clear his throat.

"We all know that. But both of you are not getting any younger. Both of you should start looking for someone to love."

Freen looks at me.

"If we can just continue our family agreement, maybe you and Freen are already married by now." her mother said out of a sudden. "But Freen rejected."

"Mom ! we already finished talking about that."

Freen said while widening her eyes.

"Yeah I know, but I think Becky is better than Saint." she turned her gaze at me "And you've been in a relationship with a girl before right Becky ?"

I got shock of what she said. How did she know about that.

I look at my mom.

She is the only person whom I have shared it. Although, I can't say if that can be called a relationship.

"Don't be shy Becky, Freen also have a relationship with a girl before. Not just once but thrice." her mother is still talking.

I turned to Freen and her face was as red as tomato.

"Stop that dear." Her father interrupted.
