It's been five years since he last sat in front of this easel with a brush on his hands. Feelings of pain went through his chest once again, his hands shaking. He held his right wrist firmly with his left hand, while slowly stroking the crimson painted brush on the canvas. He felt a sense of satisfaction after seeing the dried crimson colored rose pieces on the canvas. His first painting after five years brought tears to his eyes.
The door opened, revealing a young lady with blonde hairs. Her maxi, teal skirt swept the studio floor while she took steps towards the male. Her eyes grew wide open seeing the artwork stood in front of the male. She glanced at him, giving a smile and a gentle pat on the shoulder, "I am proud of you," she said making the male tear up again.
He stood up from the seat after wiping the tears away from his eyes, "thank you Lesli," he said to the young lady.
Lesli looked up to the man, their height deference wasn't little, "You did it, Jay," she continued after a brief pause, "I told you would forget him, I told you would get back to painting again,"
She was right. Jay finally solved the problem that caused him to not paint again. Forgetting the problem was the best solution, so he did forget him.
Jay stayed quiet while Lesli took his hands and held it with her own, "are you okay?" she asked worrying about her best friend's feelings.
The male like always, nod his head signaling that he was okay. Lesli knew he was lying but didn't object, "good," she simply said.
"No, I'm really okay Li," Jay said while emphasizing the word 'really'.
Lesli smirked, "then wanna do an art exhibit in Seoul? it's been a while since you went back to your hometown," she continued, "people in Seoul has been eagerly waiting for your return,"
Jay sat down on the couch, "you think I can do an exhibit with that incomplete work?" he said pointing at the crimson rose he painted earlier.
Lesli rolled her eyes before sitting down next to Jay, "Dude, you have those paintings you haven't showed to public yet," she said pointing at the some canvases in the studio that were covered by a white cloth, "it's been five years, time to show them?" she asked titling her head.
Those paintings from five years ago were the ones he cherished a lot. It was meaningful for him, something he would never stop admiring. Every single piece of the artwork reminded him of those happy memories he shared with his lover.
Jay hesitated for a moment, contemplating whether he was ready to share those deeply personal paintings with the world. But looking at Lesli's encouraging expression, he finally nodded and smiled. "Alright, let's do it. Let's bring those paintings to life and share them with the world in Seoul."
The thought of reconnecting with his hometown and showcasing his art filled him with a renewed sense of purpose and excitement. Together, Jay and Lesli began planning the art exhibit, ready to embark on a new chapter in Jay's artistic journey.

The day of the art-show finally arrived, Jay found himself once again in the middle of the streets of Seoul. He had a mask and a bucket hat on, not wanting to get the attention of the paparazzis.
Jay wanted to take a walk to the exhibit from the hotel. He had missed the Seoul air and the noisy crowd. After few more minutes of taking steps, he finally arrived to the museum. The paparazzis were all over the front door so he had no other chance but to get in from the back door.
As he opened the door, he was greeted by some employees who were helping Lesli with arranging the paintings, while she was sitting on the couch, her legs crossed. More specifically, she was sitting like a boss would.
Seeing the door open and revealing Jay, Lesli got up from the couch and crossed her arms, "Explain. Why are you late?" she said furrowing her eyebrows.
Jay sighted, "I got lost while getting here," as he finished his sentence, Lesli blurted out a laugh
"What the fuck Jay, you didn't use gps?" she asked while controlling her laughs. Of course, she didn't want to be seen as unserious boss in front of her employees.
Jay shook his head and changed the subject, "did the exhibition start yet? I saw the crowd outside," he said and opened the door to the actual exhibition room.
Lesli shrugged her shoulders, "don't know. Aren't you the boss here?" she said as she followed Jay who rolled his eyes at her.
The exhibit room was filled with people, Jay glared at Lesli. It had already started, people who bought tickets earlier were here now.
Jay took off his mask and the hat. He went to the people who were looking at his artworks. Paparazzis were taking pictures of the paintings that were displayed beautifully on the walls.
Jay greeted all the visitors, some were celebrities, businessmen, and artists he was familiar with. He was satisfied to see them looking at his work with admire and gratitude. As he walked through the hallways, he noticed a male with a cap on glancing at the painting in front of him for a while.
Jay approached and stood next to the male, "hi" he said while looking at his own artwork. The male next to him looked down, hiding his face with the cap more. Jay turned his attention to the boy when he didn't get a reply back to his greeting. He spoke up again, "I'm Jay, nice to meet you," he said while extending his hand.
The other male didn't seem to like shaking Jay's hand. Jay smiled in embarrassment and got his hand away. He found the male next to him strange, he didn't speak nor showed his face.
After a brief moment of silence, the anonymous male spoke up, "why is it named First Kiss?" he asked.
It was one of the weird looking artworks Jay had ever made. The canvas was filled with all sorts of paints. As if like someone splashed a paint on it, simple art. And the name First Kiss was completely different from the painting itself.
"Oh the name," Jay paused while turning his attention to the painting. He thought for a second if he should tell a stranger the backstory of his painting, "it has a backstory behind it. It all began in an art studio, where a couple shared their very first kiss. As they embraced, a moment of excitement caused them to accidentally knock over a container of paint, splattering it onto the canvas nearby. The vibrant colors and random patterns created by the spilled paint perfectly captured the raw emotions and spontaneity of their first kiss." he told as if it was all true.
Jay turned his attention to the boy next to him making an eye contact with him for a brief second. The boy was staring at Jay with tearful eyes. Jay looked away, "of course it is all made up story," he said and turned his head to the painting once again.
The male next to him held Jay's hand before Jay could say anything, the boy blurted out, "Why do I think it is true, Jay-Hyung?"
Jay got his hand out of the male, "Maybe it is true, but I have already forgotten it, Jungwon" he said with a smile before walking away leaving the boy called Jungwon alone in front of the painting.
