Permanent Retirement

The scene opens with the kids buying ice cream while Max uses an ATM to withdraw some money. A red pickup truck pulls up by the ATM with a burly man and a buck-toothed man stepping out seemingly also wanting to use the ATM.

After losing a bet with Ben, Gwen asked for something with less than 3% sugar and non-fat. This caused the Parlour Worker to respond by saying napkins but before he could ask what the boys wanted Ben burst out laughing and Jackson revealed to the worker that Gwen had only ordered that due to losing a bet. Gwen then ordered a vanilla bean cone but right as Jackson was ordering a chocolate fudge ice cream, Ben spotted the burly man shoving Max out of the way of the ATM before he attached a chain to the ATM and was about to drive off with his cohort. Ben runs out of the parlour priming the Omnitrix, confusing the worker.

"He'll take a Rocky Road, please." Jackson politely told the man.

Nodding, the worker began to prepare the cones while Ben transforms outside. The burly man then latches the chain onto the truck and leapt into the trunk yelling for him to gun it. But when the buck-toothed man reached for the wheel, it melted away, and the entire then turned black with neon green lines covering it, suddenly a voice is heard, revealing itself to be Ben transformed as his Galvanic-Mechamorph named Upgrade.

"Your cash request has been denied!" The Mechamorph quipped at the two men

Upgrade flings the two men out of the truck, with the Buck-Toothed landing upside down by a wall and the Burly one hitting a pole, the burly man tried to get up but was stopped when Max put his foot on his chest holding the man down. The police would later see the two men tied up with a chain to a lamppost.

The scene then changed to the group in the Rustbucket waiting for Ben to time out.

"I'm ready for what's ever next Grandpa! Bring it on!" Upgrade enthusiastically told Max

"Well, we're heading off to see your Great Aunt Vera for the weekend"

Timing out he had a look of slight shock "Boring Aunt Vera?!" Ben exclaimed.

Jackson handed the boy his ice cream to try to cheer up Ben. But when Ben grabbed his cone from his best friend, he noticed that both Jackson and Gwen had a bit of chocolate and vanilla ice cream stains around their mouths.

"Why do you guys have a mix of each other's ice on your faces?" He questioned his friend and cousin.

Hearing this Max whipped his head towards the kids.

"Oh, we wondered what each other's cones taste like so we traded cones for a little bit" Gwen informed him

Max sighed realizing they only swapped cones and nothing else.

The Rustbucket is shown driving through a desert, seemingly barren of any wildlife but a few desert plants.

"Wow, when Aunt Vera said she wanted to 'move away from it all' she really meant it," Gwen said surprised at how far her great-aunt went.

"Aw, man. Why did she even have to move to the middle of nowhere? There isn't anything to do!" Ben complained.

"How about we play this special edition Sumo Slammers Uno deck I brought with me?" Jackson had asked the Tennyson cousins.
