Life goes on

Its been a year and a half now since lucy's death me and peter are friends now i may still dislike him at times but me and peter get along pretty well and i'm the only one who is allowed to call him peter and he jokingly calls me sweets i find it odd at times but i've gotten used to it tk is suspicious of him but we all like him now and now every few weeks a kid from my school goes missing but none of them i really care about but i still feel empathy for there families at first there were alot of missing cases from my school now there's only 2 a week or a month which is good  right now im in english class sitting next to peter he has his head down and i'm drawing while everyone else finishes a test  peter whispers to me "hey want a soda or some chocolate?" i nod and he hands me my favorite soda and dark chocolate i eat a bite of chocolate and peter just watches i look at him and hand him some and he eats it revealing his sharky teeth i chuckle and the teacher hit the desk with a ruler and we both look at each other then at the teacher "y-y-yes?" i nervously stutter the teachers glares down at us and then speaks "quiet please if i catch you one more time its detention for both of you understand" we both nod and go back to eating the chocolate and sodas till the bell rings i was about to leave till peter speaks "anya hey can i walk you to class since we go the same way?" i just nod and we head to class i head to the library he heads to science i help the librayen clean and check out books till the bell rang and  i left the library and head to lunch with peter and tk we ate lunch,chated, and i even got cake from peter gosh i love his cooking "who do you think killed lucy anya?" tk said tk just watched sorry for what he just said as silent tears run down my face and ruin my eyeliner peter tries to comfort me as he glares at tk ''why would you even talk about her we all cared about her anya most spacialy anya!!!" peter yelled everyone in the cafeteria stopped and stared tk just glared back "but i loved the women!!!" tk yelled back i was shock he liked her i stood up still crying and ran off and hid in the office i was lucky that no one found me there but a counselor i was now crying in the counselor's office till the end of the day talking to her my mom later picked me up from school and lectured tk for what he did today the next day i didn't go to school the next day mom left for work the next day and i was left alone but then i heard my phone ring it was peter i answered sleepily to the video chat my hair a hot mess "yes?" it was a minute before he spoke "yo where are you tk just got here" oh right i didn't call him to tell him what happened ok "well i'm taking a mental day to cool off for the day" he waited for me to finish talking "oh ok understandable"i nodded "oh one one more thing peter" his face turned red when i said his name "thanks for trying to comfort me yesterday peter" he nodded and we both hang up and i roll over and go back to bed later i go and eat breakfast and stay in my room till mom gets home for lunch but what i didn't expect was peter coming and bringing me lunch so mom was being mushy....like lucy and slowly before i knew it was in my room crying peter knocking at my door soon i calm myself and let him in and he comforts me, he holds me close rubbing circles on my back soon my mom walks in and lies my now asleep body down and tells peter thank you for coming and that i wouldn't be going to school tomorrow either peter leaves and heads home for dinner and after he leaves tk walks in and apologizes to me then leaves as i watch tv in my room till dinner geez life is getting weirder by the days ha its kinda funny when i think about it soon mom calls me for dinner as i walked downstairs i ate and mom came running at me when she sees the bags under my eyes "omg you haven't been sleeping good anya go eat then go to bed" i just nodded and eat then go to bed when i woke up in the morning it was her day again
