Chan had been counting to 100, the boys were playing hide and seek. The small boy smiled. thinking this was part of the game
It wasn't.
He imagined that all of his best friends had found great hiding spots considering that they were in a beautiful green clearing there wasn't many places to hide.

It's been fourteen minutes, he's looked everywhere. The boy pushed his lips together and then exhaled a short breath. He hated being alone.
"Guys? please it's not funny anymore, i'm scared."
no one called back.
it was colder than usual. Chan, not knowing if this was part of the game anymore, burst into tears and pulled his knees against his chest.
Everything faded.

10 years. 10 torturing years.
After all of the boys had gone missing, chan was outcasted. No one would even go near him after they heard what happened with the other seven boys.
when chan came across those old posters he had stuck up on the walls of stores, when he was eight, the names pasted in big, bold, black letters hurt him the most.

It didn't feel right that his name wasn't up there with the others names. Friends since they were three, met at preschool. Now chan was all alone, no one to talk to, no one to laugh with. And most importantly, no one to love.
