(F) Lando Norris (1)

It was 8 pm when Lando Norris was playing a racing sim on stream with his friends. Those friends were, Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc and Alex Albon. The four had a good time, laughter filling the room that the brit was in.

Y/N, Lando's girlfriend, was downstairs on the couch. She was just laying there, her cat resting on her stomach as the two were barely drifting off to sleep. It was a sleep where you knew what was going on around you, being able to hear and feel everything, yet, still not being able to recollect what happened once you woke up.

Suddenly, the room was filled up with a bright flashing light, a loud bang following soon after. This made the woman laying on the couch, as well as the small animal on top of her jump. Y/N quickly sag up, her eyes now wide open. She felt her heart beat calm down, as it was just a small startling effect. The one bad thing about living in England, is the weather. Y/N was scared of thunderstorms, which was kinda ironic. Another flash brightened the room, before she heard a second loud bang. She didn't exactly know what made her so uneasy about thunder, but she hated it with a passion. Her heartbeat increased as she knew there was a storm coming up, helplessly looking around for comfort.

There was another loud thunder before she had realized she needed the comfort of her loved one beside her, to finally relax. She stumbled up the stairs as the thunder kept getting worse, seemingly coming near their house.

Lando was laughing at something Charles had said, before he got startled by a loud noise. At first, he thought it came from downstairs, but soon realized it was just thunder, which calmed his senses. "Shit guys, there's a thunderstorm going on outside my house." He told his friends, as well as his stream. "No way, actually?" Charles asked, his heavy accent sounding quite funny to the brit.

The four continued their stream, having fun as there was suddenly a knock on the door. Lando moved one side of his headset away, so he could hear what was going on when the door opened. He looked at his gorgeous girlfriend, but his admiration soon turned into worry as she looked quite uneasy. He took his headset off completely, not caring about what his friends had to comment.

"Everything okay?" He asked his beloved, who shook her head. When there was another sudden bang, Y/N flinched, running over to her boyfriend. Lando looked up at her, still sitting in his gaming chair as he wrapped an arm around her waist. "Are you still streaming?" Y/N asked, to which she got a soft yeah as an answer. "Is everything okay?" Lando repeated himself as she hadn't answered his question yet. She shook her head in a way to tell him that she wasn't sure herself, so he offered her a seat next to him. "Wanna watch me play?" He asked, looking at the stream before looking up at her again, rubbing her back with the hand he once had around her waist.

"Sure" Y/N nodded, before Lando stood up to get himself a chair. "Here, you can have this one" He told her, pointing at his gaming chair before going to grab a regular one for himself. Y/N decided not to argue and sat down. She looked at the screen, seeing three of Lando's friends. She waved with a smile to them. Hearing faint "Hey Y/N"'s from the headset.

Once Lando came back with a kitchen chair, he sat down, putting his headset on, though only one ear was covered. As he got more comfortable in the chair, he put his right hand on his girlfriends thigh, as she was still quite uneasy. He did play a little with his friends, telling Y/N some stuff that they said, as well as reading her the chat a few times. She found it quite funny how he was so worked up by the game, letting out annoyed scoffs whenever he lost or ran into something. Yet, he also couldn't help but laugh at most things.

Y/N had almost forgotten there was a storm, until the two suddenly heard another bang. Y/N let out a small high pitched scream as she was startled, which lead to making Lando jump. He looked at her with a shocked expression, while Y/N started giggling at herself, which soon turned into a laughter. She heard Lando's friends, which she could call her own at this point, laugh through the headset as she leaned her forehead against his shoulder in embarrassment.

Lando chuckled, wrapping his arms around Y/Ns waist as he looked at the screen. "Should I end the stream?" He asked, to which Y/N nodded. Lando did as he was told, saying goodbye to his friends as well as his fans before ending the stream.

"Are you scared of thunder?" He asked with a chuckle, only receiving a nod from his girlfriend. "Come here" He said, picking her up and walking towards the bed, laying down with her. Y/N snuggled close to him, hearing thunder and seeing flashes from the lightning in the background. Lando's arms were wrapped around her waist, holding her close to him.

"It's not gonna hurt you, why are you so scared?" He chuckled, looking down to her laying on his chest, before kissing her forehead. "Well, a fish is also not gonna hurt you, yet you still stay away from them" She snarled, a small laugh leaving her. "That's different" Lando whined, Y/N only smacked his shoulder. "Not really."
