Isla stood in izzie room with the rest of the residents as they stood resting food. She felt as awkward as she could when it came to izzie. Isla knew that she felt bad over what was going on with her and Alex but she knew how they had a connection and she knew it was confusing
Anna looked to Isla. She saw the looks and glanced with her and Alex and rolled her eyes. Anna wasn't stupid and she knew how something had happened with her and Alex even though Isla hadn't told her what it is
"You could just tell me what happened I mean the chemistry between the two of you is undeniable" Anna said as Isla looked to her and rolled her eyes
"I have no idea what you mean" Isla said as Anna scoffed
"Chicken. Good chicken." Alex said as they stood tasting good. Isla stood aside. She didn't have the stomach for food
"Yeah, chicken.I know it's chicken. I want to know what it tastes like." Izzie said
"Tastes like chicken." Alex said
"I'm having surgery today." Izzie said
"Maybe. If the mets have shrunk." Bailey said
"I am maybe having surgery today, and as such, I cannot taste the chicken for myself, so I really need you guys to tell me what it tastes like. I need to nail down this dinner so I can announce it on Meredith and Derek's wedding web site." Izzie said
"There's a web site?" Meredith asked
"So can you please be a little more articulate than just chicken?" Izzie asked as Derek walked out of the bathroom in a tux. Anna and Isla held a look
"Oh, that's the one. " izzie said
"Very dapper, Dr. Shepherd." Bailey chucked
"You're serious about this?It's not some cruel joke?" Derek said
"This feels like a joke" Isla mumbled as Anna laughed
"You look fantastic.He looks fantastic, right?" Izzie said
"Yeah." Meredith said
"Uh, whatever." Cristina said
"I'm out of here" Isla said as Anna followed her. They walked down the hallway as Anna caught up to Isla and smiled
"What is going on with you and Karev and don't say it's nothing the tension between the two of you is a joke. I don't know if your going to Jump each other or kill each other in there" Anna said as Isla sighed
"It's complicated besides izzie has cancer and I won't overstep" Isla said as Anna smiled
"Your a good person I can tell. There is something with you and Alex. But I don't think him and izzie will last" Isla said as Anna looked to her and smiled

Isla stood at the nurses station as Alex walked over to here. The two of them held a look as Isla went to walk away "Isla wait" he said as she turned to look at him and sighed
"What do you want for me alex. I am not in the mood for the games gif this hot and cold thing. Look you can't chase after me and tell me all of these things and then go and okay the doting boyfriend it's but fair" she said as he sighed
