Kyle's pov-
Todays Friday and While I sit in class I recall many happy memories made with my best friend while smiling to myself , I missed him a lot and now that I think about it Stan has changed a lot in a short amount of time so hav I of course but he's He's kinda good looking, still shorter than me and his hair is very badly bleached, but still looks good.

I glance over at him and see him already staring at me, kind of like he was in awe. I take out a sticky note and write on it so excited to come over!, trying to seem enthusiastic i gently threw it at him, carful to not get the the teachers attention. He caught the balled up piece of paper and glanced over at me, getting out of his Trance and looking confused. I pointed to the sticky note and watched him open it.he gave a sudden look of relief and wrote back on it.

He threw it back at me again carful not to get the teachers attention.I opened the note and it read same/ we haven't hung out in a while and I missed you. Reading the last part got me very happy that he was thinking about me while he was gone, I knew that he missed me because we were best friends but this time made me feel different. I brushed off my feelings to not cause myself anymore stress that I already have, I have to meet Wendy in the library due to being in student council , walk Ike home and then go to Stan's.

I finished up my work as fast as I could and asked the teacher if I could leave early for student council, she said yes and I headed off.while walking I got a text

Stan☺️❤️- hey dude, where did you go?

Me- to meet someone for student council
matters 👍

Stan☺️❤️- oh okay can we meet by the cafeteria for lunch?

Me- sure dude I'll be there ❤️

Stan☺️❤️-😘

Replying and reading his last text feeling happy as ever, I wondered WHY I felt this way, I had never been this happy to talk to someone, I brushed it off and thought to myself  it's probably because you haven't seen him in awhile.

Stan's pov-

After I texted Kyle I started to finally focus on the class work that had been assigned and the last 30 minutes of class, which was fairly easy since Kyle wasn't-
Why am I thinking of him like this? I need to stop.
Sooner or later,school ended I started to walk to me and kyles meeting place.I waited for about five minutes while on my phone until suddenly Kyle walked up slightly looking sad "you okay Kyle?" "Yeah I'm fine, let's talk later and just go" okay dude".

The whole time we walked I couldn't stop thinking about him. Why was he sad? Was it me? What happened?,and tried to push off my feelings as we neared my house.
I took my key out of my pocket and walked in. " hey mom!" "Hey hun, hi Kyle!" She said, "hi mrs.marsh!" She stepped out of the kitchen and gave him a hug then looked him up and down following with a "you've grown so much" smiling brightly he hugged her back and we then told her we were gonna go upstairs.

Kyle then sat his stuff down and sat down next to me on the bed. " what do you wanna do?" I asked, " I don't know dude, do you wanna watch a movie Orr play a game?" " wanna watch a horror movie?" " hell yeah I do!" He said back. I turned in my tv downstairs and scrolled to Netflix turning on TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE (writer note- one of the best movies on the block👏🏾)

A few minutes before the movie we grabbed some snacks as well as soda and came back to watch it, as we sat and watched the movie, I couldn't help but notice how pretty Kyle actually was, when we were young he was always told he had slight feminine features and I kinda saw that now.

I snapped out of my trance when I heard his voice"hey Stan?" "Yeah?" I ask slightly red and flustered at the embarrassment, "have you changed at all since you've been gone?" He asked it kinda took me a while to answer while I thought about the year I spent with family and finally answered with "yeah I guess, my hair is different, I kinda got taller and I'm bisexua-" I froze at me blurting that out, I'm not out to my parents or friends yet and I started to feel a rush of regret.

He looked at me in the most understanding face I've ever seen and I felt myself melt as he grabbed my hand and said "finish talking Stan, it's okay" I stared at him taken aback for a few seconds before finding sentence as he asked me to "I'm bisexual, uhm and I have a job.." I then glanced over at him again when he said " where do you work?" " I work at an art center" I replied.

He nodded and began asking me more questions, after 30 minuets of cuddling( in a friend way)(maybe...) and talking about things that have changed about us he asked me a questionthat I was not prepared for " hey Stan.." "yeah?" " uhm.." I saw him freeze up before continuing "How did you know you were bisexual?" I looked at him and he looked away trying to hide how red his face was, I put my hand on his shoulder and he turned back at me. I could tell he was getting emotional from the tears forming in his eyes and quickly gave him a hug.

He hugged back tightly as I asked "who is it?" I felt him tense up and mumble something before he then said " uhm.." I could tell he was uncomfortable so I reassured him it was okay. "wanna get back to the movie?" I asked smiling, he smile back and replied with "yeah"

2 hours into the movie I glanced over at him to see him sleeping soundly on the couch downstairs , I calmly poked him to wake him up. He sat up slowly, "Stan?" "Yeah Kyle, it's me let's go get in my bed" "okay" he replied. I helped him get up and wrapped him in a blanket before going upstairs with him.
Me and him then laid in my bed and I see his sleepy eyes face me then suddenly he says "Stan I really missed you, honestly I don't know what I would do without you" "same here Kyle I love you good night" "I love you too" I stared at him as we both drifted off to sleep close together. Never planning to leave.
