The two met up at a café near their hometown called, De' Mocha. The café had a calm aroma, with a soothing ambience. Many of the employers were serving either hot breakfast, or many coffees, which obviously varied.
The two friends sat on comfortable chairs near a glass window, the sun reflecting its bright rays. The just sat there, meanwhile Haerin looked embarrassed like she realized the silly things she texted Minji yesterday night.
Breaking the silence, Minji asked, "So what are you gonna order?" Haerin rested her head on her palm, looking outside of the café, "I'll just have what you're gonna get." Haerin replied.
They both pushed their comfy chairs aback, and walked up to the register, who were soon greeted by someone who looked quite cheerful, "Hello, what would guys like to order?" she smiled. Minji ordered her iced mocha, two of them, and just followed what the worker asked for. Out of nowhere, Haerin literally slapped Minji's back, making the girl in pain shriek quietly, "Ow!" Minji was about to give that girl a whole lecture, until she noticed that Haerin ran off back to their seats.
The girl, told Minji that her order would soon come by, so she goes ahead, walking to Haerin. Seeing from her looks, it's as if Haerin saw someone she knew, or something. Her head rested on her arms, along with her back posture slouched.
"Haerin wth," Minji gave her the stare.
The other girl looked up, "Bro bro bro bro!" she signaled Minji to come closer...
In that particular moment, Minji's heart skipped a beat. She felt Haerin's breath to her ears, as Haerin whispered something to her.
She gulped.
Minji barely listened to what her friend has been talking so much about. She was basically distracted, by Haerin. She kept blinking, but slowly. It continued like flickering lights.
Suddenly, she snapped back to herself when Haerin pulled with, "Are you listening?" she then waved her hand infront of the frozen-like girl. "W-wha, oh, uh, no? I mean yes!" she said with clear troubles. Haerin sighed, cause she literally spoke whole paragraphs and wasn't listening, but she just shrugs it off, "Oh look, I think that's ours." she said, and walked up to them. There was a person, who was holding mugs in their hands.
Ugh, what's wrong with me right now?
Minji cracked her knuckles, trying to ignore that weird moment she was feeling. She felt somewhat off.
Oh yeah, what did she say?
Nevemind, I can't remember...
Haerin came back with two mugs in her hands. She placed one infront of Minji, and the other to herself. The two drank their drinks.
"Oh yeah, what were you saying earlier?" Minji placed her cup on the wooden table, eyes now on Haerin. She did the same, "Okay so you know how I was texting you about some pretty girl I saw yesterday?" Minji nodded, "I literally saw her sitting in one of those tables!!" she whispered-screamed. Well, to Minji, she was quite loud. Anyway, Minji responded giggling. She found her silly, and cute.
Cute.
...
"Wait where?" Minji asked her friend, her head looking towards all the tables. At the same time, she was trying not to look weird. But of course, she looked weird. To other people atleast.
Haerin gave her a shocked look, but her palm was right in the direction of her. Minji's jaw dropped, "Dam, she really is pretty," her eyes never left the girl.
Suddenly, the girl who the duo were talking about, gave them a look. Moments ago, she was just playing, swiping doing whatever on her iphone. But now, she stopped and gave a smile.
Meanwhile, Haerin kept smiling like a fool, and waved back. Her smile very awkward.
"You're so awkward," Minji gave Haerin a weird face.
"What am I supposed to do?"
"I don't know, talk to her? If you're gonna say she's pretty you can atleast tell her in person." she said, soon becoming red, thinking of that thought.
Atleast I would like to hear that... coming from you.
Haerin lightly smacked her, "Are you crazy!?" she screamed in a tone where no one could hear her, except for Minji. Well, unless some people are near her.
The jet black haired blushed no more, and drank her order.
After finishing their drinks, the two decide to go for a walk, around town.
There was many people around. Many taking walks, or with their bicycles. Some sitting on benches. It was a lovely day to do so anyway.
So, the two good friends were talking about whatever.
But to Minji, Haerin couldn't get off a specific topic: the girl they saw. Which made her feel, something. Something she wasn't so sure of. But she tossed it away, and tried to ignore it, but she couldn't. The feeling came back whenever she'd see Haerin, talk to her, or do anything.
"I wonder if she always goes to that café..." Haerin wondered. Meanwhile, Minji just responded nodding.
Sometime passed, they're now sitting on a bench, near some beautiful green trees. The green trees where quite big, big enough to cover the duo with their leaves, creating some shade.
The two were now just chilling, the wind hitting them not to roughly. Which was perfect, since the sun was out hot.
Suddenly, Haerin got a notif sound, coming from her phone.
"Minji, my mom wants me to help prepare the house, since my cousins will be coming later on," Haerin announced, putting her phone away. Minji just smiled, "Alright, see you!" Haerin replied with the same, and left her smiling.
Once Haerin's figure got out of Minji's sight, she too began to walk home.
I wonder who that girl is.
Maybe if she goes back to that café, I could talk with her or something. Maybe even become friends with her.
She looks my age too, so that's a good thing. Oh wait, some people don't even look their age.
Eh.
Minji smiled, and looked down.
Our age or not, I'm doing this, just for Haerin. I'm sure she'd like that.
