Yang Yang watched from the bed as Zhang Zhehan threw his pyjamas and underwear into a suitcase.
It was early March, and Zhang Zhehan had arrived from Shanghai that day. He had finished his meetings and had dinner with his manager Ms. Xie, before returning to Yang Yang's apartment.
Now he was packing up some of his things as he prepared to live in a hotel.
It was for the time being, while his mother was in town.
During their ski trip last month, they had talked a lot about their hopes and dreams. Of course Zhang Zhehan was mad that his fashion show fell through. As much as he hated to admit it, it was apparent that he could not move forward in his home country. But no matter, he would change strategy, focus on his music, and develop overseas.
For this, he decided to move back to Beijing, and set up a branch of his music company, with his mother as the legal representative.
So while Mama Zhang was in Beijing to complete the paperwork, he would stay with her in a hotel for a few weeks.
"What did you do today, baby?" Zhang Zhehan paused and looked up at Yang Yang with a smile, wanting to hear about his day.
"Dubbing for <My Fireworks on Earth>. We're mostly done, so we can broadcast in the summer."

Zhang Zhehan nodded as he thought about the fireman drama Yang Yang filmed last year with his friends. He had put in 101% effort into it, and it was about to bear fruit.
"Is Liu Yuning singing for you again?"
Yang Yang chuckled and winked. "Of course."
"Then I'm sure the drama will be a smashing success." Zhang Zhehan assured and gave him a wide smile. Liu Yuning would always give a shout-out on his livestreams to those dramas for which he sung the theme songs.
But Yang Yang's brow furrowed slightly and he looked worried. "I'm not sure. There are many other dramas with top celebs due for release this summer. Xiao Zhan's <The Longest Promise>, and there is also Dilireba and Gong Jun's <The Legend of An Le>, which Liu Yuning is acting in as well. "
