After Prom|Nuzi Murder Drones fanfic

In the Pod

-Uzi's perspective

I woke up in my room after prom. I don't know how I ended up here, maybe dad carried me here after the dance. I sat there, I just felt horrible and I'm not sure why. I looked in the mirror and it shattered like I predicted. I was still in my prom dress. I went out of my room to see N and V but all I saw was my dad. "Isn't it my beautiful daughter!" He exclaimed. I hated when he did stiff like that, pretend to be a good father even though he left me dead and has the audacity to call my very first friend a 'bad influence' he doesn't know anything about N "I'm so glad you're okay!" He continued. I rolled my eyes "Do you know what happened?" I asked dad "Well uh...those murder drones attacked you and they knocked you out! I came over to save you and bring you home!" I could tell he was lying. "Ugh dad! I know you're lying! Why can't you just tell me the truth and stop trying to deprive me from my friends! I'm going to see N," I stormed off. He has no right to lie to me. I headed off to the pod to see N and V.

I climbed into the pod and saw V sitting on her chair with broken chains around it and N curled on the floor, stressed about something. He heard me come down and immediately hugged me. I blushed a little bit with the sudden affection. "I'm so glad you're okay Uzi!" He let go but was still grabbing my shoulders. I started into his yellow eyes for a second "I-" I started to say but changed my mind "-What happened after we went to Doll's dorm?" I asked. N smiled and gave a a relieved sigh "You just had to recharge," he said. I didn't know exactly what to say. It was the most expected story but I kinda hoped something crazy happened while I was recharging to start a conversation. "Uhm N, I know it's late but do you want to maybe...take a walk...with me?" I was blushing but so was N "Yeah, I'd love to" N replied. "Dapper buddies" he whispered under his breath "I heard that you nut!" I pinched his arm and we both started to laugh. N averted his eyes to V, "What should we do for V?" He asked "I didn't think of that" I replied "I mean not like she could get in right now," N shrugged and we went off for a walk
