More days passed, Jack has not had a dream since the last one that he had. He felt more relaxed thanks to summer vacation. Jack was so happy about his mom getting him a brand-new phone.
"I'm glad to change it from that old crappy thingy. This phone looks so futuristic!" He thought. Her mom told him that it was for making it through elementary school. Jack could tell that they saved a lot of money for this, so he was grateful for it.
[Tuesday]
One morning, Jack went to get ready to eat breakfast with his mom. His dad already left for work. The majority of the day them two because his dad gets home by 7 pm. However, that doesn't stop them from having fun. They would go to the park or go on bikes to the beach. Jack doesn't like to go out a lot, but that doesn't stop his mom from going out sometimes. When Jack finished eating, he went to the living room and started watching TV. Then unexpectedly, there was a kid at the front door. The door was wide open. They kept staring at each other awkwardly waiting for someone to act. His mom noticed and stepped in.
"You're our neighbor from next door, am I right?" She talked to him in a sweet voice.
"I know why you're here, you're here for Jack. I don't mind you taking him." Jack felt like she sold his soul to the boy. He looked at his mom, she stared back at him like saying if you don't go with him, you'll see what will happen later. Jack simply sigh and he follows the little kid.
"He looks around 3 or 4 years younger than me." Jack thought. Jack looked at him and the kid looked so uncomfortable.
"So, how old are you?" Jack tried starting a conversation, but it did not work. Jack looked down from the balcony and were three other kids that looked around his age.
When they were going downstairs, one of the girls said, "You see? It wasn't that hard." She rapidly looked at Jack.
She said, "Hey, I'm Patricia, I'm the one that lives all the way over there in the corner, nice to meet you."
"I'm Jack, nice to meet you." Jack said nervously.
"Okay! Well, let me introduce you to the guys." Patricia said.
"The little one next to you is called Lukas, I imagine you already know that he's a little shy when he's meeting new people but don't worry, when he gets to know you well, he'll be like a crab, not able to separate from you."
Jack looked at Lukas and said, smiling, "I hope we can get along and be good buddies." Lukas simply turned away shyly.
"And he's Andrew, he may look little, but he's tough on the inside, so don't get into his bad side." Andrew looked at him and presented himself.
"Hey man, nice to meet you."
"Hey, you too." Jack responded. They did a fist bump.
"Now, let me introduce you to Flor." Patricia said.
"Hey, what's up?" Flor said.
Jack responded with, "Hey!" Flor was smaller than Patricia was, but was still taller than Andrew was. Patricia was around the same size as Jack. They stayed there and talked a bit more. Then they played freeze tag. Jack thought he was killing it.
"Andrew ran like a Mother-F#!#!, he caught me every time." Jack thought. They finished around 7 pm.
"Man, that was fun, but my legs are going to fall out." Jack thought. When he went back inside of his apartment, his dad was already there with a bucket of KFE.
"KFEEEE!" Jack could not ask for anything else.
"It's going to be finger-licking great." He said to himself.
