"chloe look let me explain, i know i shouldn't be here but i have to be here" he looked at me while i looked back at him hearing him this time, i nod for him to keep going

"mm right .. but she comes up to me and i didn't even know who she was or that she was here but she said 'happy birthday malachi , ik you have a gf but i can be better for you' right and then she kissed me but i didn't kiss her back i promise i pulled away so fast and tan off to my mom"
he explained and i just stayed quiet , "chloe i don't know if we're broken up or if you wanna keep things low again and build things up but i'll let u think about it" he says as he gets up and stops at the door
"wait malachi .. i believe you but i think things will be better if we start low again , im sorry" i looked at him and he smiled softly at me and walked out
