He sat with his legs hanging over the side of the building, tears welled up in his eyes, threatening to fall. Gods, he was pathetic, thinking his boyfriend actually loved him? What a sick joke! The frown crossing his face etched deeper into his skin as he stared down at the city below. He wondered what it would be like to fall from a height this high. He laughs at the thought, the voices in his brain enticing him to do it. To let go, to slide off the edge and find peace.
He lets out an angry sigh, pushing the thoughts away as far back as possible. He couldn't do that, not to his mom, or his dad, or his best friends. He just couldn't. Bakugou hears a door slam behind him, but he pays no attention to it. It's not like he's going to do anything . . . right?
"Kat?" Shinsou called out, watching the tall, angry blonde's posture shift at the sound of his name. "Baby?"
"What are you doing up here, Hitoshi?" The blonde tries his hardest to keep his voice steady, the nickname Shinsou called him making him flush and he's grateful for the darkness and that the other can't see his face.
"I was worried, Kitty, I heard what that bastard did, using you. I was hoping to find you."
"Well, you found me. Now what?"
"I know that its recent and that the other guy took your heart and shredded it. Hell, I've been there! Please climb down, kitkat, I only want to help, and believe me, throwing yourself off a roof isn't the solution. I've tried."
"Tch." Bakugou blinks away tears, he knew things got bad on Shinsou's end, but he had attempted- and- gah it was the worst thought to ever come to mind. He slowly backed away, climbing down from the edge. "Don't think this means shit, eye bags!"
"I don't, sweetheart, come here." Shinsou murmured, noticing the other's tears and constant fidgeting. Bakugou ran forwards, throwing his arms around Shinsou, burying his face in the other's shoulder as he sobbed. "It's alright, I'm here now."
Shinsou soothed the other, picking him up and carrying him out of the chilly night air. Back down the stairs and into his (Shinsou's) dorm. He attempted to set Bakugou down on the bed, wanting to find some more comfy clothes for the other, but the little wasn't having it. He clung to Shinsou like his life depended on it (which maybe it did).
"Don' leave," Bakugou whined out, more tears falling from scarlet eyes. "I'll be gud, pomise!"
Shinsou felt his heart shatter. He placed a hand under the little's chin, lifting the other's face. "My little firework, you have never been anything but well behaved for me. I will never leave, I promise."
He carries the little over to the wardrobe, ready to start digging through the closet for some clothes to change the little into.
"How old are you feeling, sweetheart?" Shinsou murmurs as he pulls the wardrobe doors open. Bakugou holds up two fingers then three before shifting between the two a look of frustration and concentration crossing his features. Shinsou gently kisses the little's forehead. "It's okay to not know."
Bakugou nods, letting his head rest against the older's collarbone. Shinsou goes back to digging through the wardrobe; pulling out a purple hoodie (his) that had somehow found its way into Katsuki's closet and a diaper. "Pants or no pants, firecracker?"
"No pants! No pants! No pants!" Katsuki chanted, kicking his legs lightly. Shinsou nods, carefully setting the little on the bed and quickly helping him change. He cooes internally. His hoodie swallowed Kat, it landing about mid thigh on the boy. Bakugou reached out, reattaching himself to Shinsou. "Baba?"
"Hm?" Shinsou hummed quietly as he made the little up a bottle of almond based angel milk (Katsuki's lactose intolerant in my head). The little babbled unintelligibly, the caregiver responding every so often with the right reaction, the little stimming happily. Soon enough, though, the bottle was done. He retrieved Bakugou's stuffed cat (he had a soft spot for kittens especially.)
"Alright, bubs, I'm sitting down," Shinsou warned as he adjusted their positions, the little laying in his lap clinging to his cat stuffie, drinking from his bottle. His mind felt floaty and calm, warm, and safe. He felt himself growing ever so much smaller, eyes drooping shut as he finished his bottle off, his Baba's shirt clutched in his small fist. Shinsou smiled, kissing the little's forehead and kicking off his sneakers. He shifted once more so they were both laying down, the blanket thrown over them. He knew he would have to talk to Katsuki in the morning about everything that had happened, but for right now, he was content to just take care of the little. "Sweet dreams, Suki."
