Birdie stood there, eyes locked on Vance who was quick to remove himself from his place on top of Noelle.

"You...aren't supposed to be home till later." They both now fumbled to put their clothes back on, but she was quick to throw up a hand.

"Please. Don't stop on my account." Noelle finished up before looking to Birdie apologetically.

Birdie was...unsurprised. It bothered her much less than it should have. What bothered her most was when Vance tried to justify his actions.

"I love you, Birdie, and I'm sorry, but you're just not into what I'm into." Birdie chuckled.

"Okay, Vance." She turned on her heel, walking back toward the living room.

"Wait, what? That's it, are you kidding me?" He grabbed her arm, but she was quick to pull away.

"I want a divorce. We clearly aren't in love...and I don't want to waste any more time with you." His eyes widened in surprise.

"...you're not serious?" She squinted at him.

"What the hell do you think? If you were in love with me, you wouldn't be fucking another woman." His face reddened in anger.

"It never meant anything, and she knows that. She knows it's just sex, because I love you."

"Stop. I want a divorce. This isn't love." The panic in his face was clear as day, and it took her by surprise. He grabbed her hand.

"Please baby, ju-" He stopped mid sentence, his eyes meeting the threshold of her neck.

"What is that?" She stepped away from his touch, uncaring at this point if he seen the love bites on her neck.

"You know exactly what it is." His jaw dropped and his fists clenched.

"You've been fucking somebody else?" She was almost insulted by how surprised he was.

"Most definitely not as long as you've been screwing around, that's pretty clear to me now."

"No. You're not. You wouldn't do that." He was in denial, though she wasn't sure why.

"Well, believe it, proof is in the pudding."

"You're lying."

"I'm not." He crossed his arms, his anger reaching its boiling point.

"Noelle and I have been sleeping together for nearly two years, Birdie. Everyone at work knows, you're stupid if you didn't see it coming." She scrunched her face.

"I don't really give a fu-" this time, she froze. "...everyone at work?"

"It was obvious, Connor was the one who convinced me to go for it. So I did." He spoke venomously, was trying to hurt her. She wouldn't let him, not anymore.

"Everyone?" She repeated, silently begging him to evolve, before he squinted, his eyes widening.

"I fucking knew it. I knew he was acting fucking off with me. All he ever did was ask about you!"

Her eyes widened.

No, no, no, no...

"You're fucking Xavier! I can't believe that fucking prick, I'm gonna kill him." She was more shocked than anything at this point, and before she knew what was happening he was out the door.

Her feet stayed glued to the floor, her mind wandering.

Did Adrien know about his affairs with Noelle?
