This waking up early in the mornings shit is so stupid. I am reminded on why I skipped out on college for so long right now.
I sat up out of bed and stretched my arms up and out, that is always my favorite and first thing to do the mornings, is to stretch out my whole body. I finally get out of bed after 10 minutes of scrolling through TikTok and make my way to the bathroom.Exiting my bedroom and going out into the hallway, I make towards the stairs that lead to the kitchen and living room.
As I was approaching the stairs I could smell the coffee that Lexie already had brewing. That had me taking the stairs two at a time with the biggest grin on my face because that woman did not even drink coffee she made it specifically for me.
Entering the kitchen with the biggest cheesiest grin on my face, I went straight to the coffee pot and grabbed my favorite mug from the cabinet above.
Pouring myself a cup of coffee, I glanced behind me,"Lexie you know you're my favorite person right?"
Leaning against the counter Lexie looked up at me with a smirk on her face "Nyx who else would be your favorite person? You literally do not socialize long enough with anyone to give them a fair chance." She said to me humor all in her tone. She always thought she was so hilarious when it came to mocking me.
Grabbing my mug, I headed for the counter that Lexie was currently leaning against pulling out one of the chairs and sitting beside her.
She had her long blonde hair up in a bun so I knew this meant she was about to head upstairs and start her daily morning yoga, which I so by the way needed to start joining her for.
Lexie is a very beautiful person she is everything that I aspire to be. She is the most positive person that I have met in my life. Not like the annoying kind that nothing ever bothers them. She believes that if you have a positive mindset and speak good things out into the universe, that good things are only bound to happen to you. I on the other hand am not so good about being positive, I tend to have a lot of negative aspects on life.
Lexie stands at about two inches taller than I, who stands at roughly 5'6 and boy is she proud of her height too. She has the prettiest dirty blonde hair that I have ever seen, but she would like to beg to differ. She is super tan with eyes so piercingly blue they hurt to look at, and the most beautiful olive skin.
I snap out of my thoughts and tell Lexie that I was going to go shower and get ready for school. I still had two hours before classes even began but believe it or not I liked to be early to everything.
I headed back down the same hallway that shared mine and Lexie's room. We had a three story house but Lexie I agreed we both wanted to be on the same floor, which was the second floor. There were two rooms on the second floor with their own balconies and bathrooms and the three rooms with the same layout on the third floor. Which by the way we still needed to find three roommates for. Rent is way to damn expensive for just Lexie and I to live here. Then the kitchen and the living room were downstairs on the first floor.
Wrapping the towel around my body as I got out of the shower, I walked over to the sink and brushed teeth. I put on my moisturizer and headed into my room to change.
Looking around in my closet I started to panic,"Lexie I need your help!" I yelled so she would come quickly. Lexie had great taste when it came to anything fashion related. She came bursting through my door as if I were being murdered,a look of determination on her face bat in hand ready to swing on whoever it was that was causing my distress.
Glancing around and realizing we were all alone and there was indeed no one trying to harm me, she slowly started to lower the bat to the ground.
"You know Nyx I really need you to stop doing that or one of these days it will not end well for you." She stated as if I was in the wrong, but shaking her head anyways knowing that I will never stopped yelling for her.
